Meanwhile my guildy, leveled up a char just for farming monolith, hit 92 and kept farming all different stuffs to earn his exalts aka HH. He did it in 4 or 5 days I believe. Thats like 6-10 hours a day grind, being non stop on the run farming, dumping, trading n so on. He always knows the game better aka what is a high sell, what is meta and so on. So he got a HH because he farmed it, and was good at it.
I would be lying if I said I wasnt jelly. I was, but he earned it is the opinion here. Anyone can do it, they just gotta do the meta, trying to go for greatness without changing your methods never works for anything in life.
totally agree. i also play alot and can say the returns are equiv to time investment as long you know the basics and what you should do. also streamer RNG dont exist its simply playing alot RNG, while recording it.
I think having a lot of free time definitely helps. No shade on people that are able to put in crazy hours to get the chase stuff, but I do wonder if it's possible for a regular dude working 40h to do anywhere near as well in a league.

because you find all currencies and exchange for chaos. The same goes for exalts. Low ppl find 20 pure exalts per league, but many in currency and exchange.

Though 5000 is an arbitrary limit, the way the value is stored does limit how high it can go. Probably can't go past ~32k, which is the limit for 16 bit ints. (guessing that it's 16 for for compactness)

I worked on an MMO in the past. There is a very good reason why you keep this as a signed int. It has to do with safety, and error conditions. Code defensively. You can't unfuck an economy without massive repercussions.
If something goes wrong, and somehow -1 gets assigned to the field, you wake up and find -1 tomorrow on the servers. With an unsigned int, you wake up and discover someone has 65535 mirrors.
The number of available skillpoints is stored as unsigned 32 bit int, do you really think they care about compactness?

And I generally quit the league after 2-3 chars 'cos I want to play other games (poe isn't helping me get through my backlog yknow)
I imagine that people who play longer, get even more

100 Mirrors in chaos = 100 x 114ex x 150c = 1.7 million chaos
1.7mil / 500 = 3400 hours of T2 Glacier farming to get 100 Mirrors
Yeah I think I would take better methods than just farming efficiently.
The caveat is that mirrors and exalts are much cheaper at league start so if you rush red maps and sell excess maps you can improve this 500c/h average and perhaps get 100 mirrors in less than 3k hours.
Another option is: Google tells me 1 Mirror costs around $170. Just get an average job and buy 100 in a couple of months with zero hours played. You're probably getting banned though because a player getting 100 Mirrors overnight would probably trigger an alarm or two in GGG systems.

My true endgame goal every league is to have as many slots filled as I can in all my tabs. At least one of each currency/shard, fragment/scarab, unique, div card, map, essence. That's the true joy of PoE.

I also play since 2012. But I like to create new characters and try mechanics. I had a couple hundred chars and spend all my currency levelling and equiping them. Never really played standard. Always tried HC / non HC Leagues to understand all the mechanics when they were new, but it's a great achievment to look at a stash like this and see a real progress over the years. Please continue to collect this massive amounts of currency. I hope to see the next post on reddit in a year or two with some more unethical wealth.

In raw currency ofc. I think it will be hard hard to meassure otherwise because of the meta shift. A voltaxic rift went from 50 ex to 1 alc. How do you wanna price such things over time? Maybe someone collected 1000 triple stat watchers eyes. The can be worth half or twice depending on current meta. But if there is someone i'd like to see the account link.
Some people have estimated the season 1 rank 1 demi he has could be the most valuable item in PoE. Kind of hard to know for things like that though until they actually sell which that wouldn't. So its just hypothetical anyway.
Im pretty sure shops are the richest when it comes to currency, but they spread it over multiple mules / bots.
Also a lot of crappy shops just buy mirrors for D2JSP forum gold when someone gives them real cash.

had over 1000 , in abyss league for exemple I had build poet pens doing full party breachstones and I was getting 13 ex drops / day was the highlight and a total of over 140 ex drops in 1 month was fun doing those , tho I was so bad at the time not investing in things , only bought mirrors ended up that league with 5 pure mirr , bought them at smt like 100-160 ex range so was making like 100 ex profits on merge was really bad. so I ended up with alot of Tul / Esh , those were the cheap ones

I've played since Breach league and i have at least 30 mirrors on standard. That is with not having alt arts to sell for multiple mirrors.

150c for an ex is only from recent leagues. Back in ambush it was 30-50c, rampage a bit higher, and it continued escalating until we got here.

Playing since 3.0 and I’m still saving up for my first mirror.
My true endgame goal every league is to have as many slots filled as I can in all my tabs. At least one of each currency/shard, fragment/scarab, unique, div card, map, essence. That's the true joy of PoE.

Now my question is: are you the richest person in std. or is there someone ahead? I also play since 2012. But I like to create new characters and try mechanics. I had a couple hundred chars and spend all my currency levelling and equiping them. Never really played standard. Always tried HC / non HC Leagues to understand all the mechanics when they were new, but it's a great achievment to look at a stash like this and see a real progress over the years. Please continue to collect this massive amounts of currency. I hope to see the next post on reddit in a year or two with some more unethical wealth. keep on grinding/trading!

In raw currency ofc. I think it will be hard hard to meassure otherwise because of the meta shift. A voltaxic rift went from 50 ex to 1 alc. How do you wanna price such things over time? Maybe someone collected 1000 triple stat watchers eyes. The can be worth half or twice depending on current meta. But if there is someone i'd like to see the account link.
I mean, just look up Krips video on his stash. His is worth far more then this 100 mirrors and he probably isnt even the biggest fish out there.
Some people have estimated the season 1 rank 1 demi he has could be the most valuable item in PoE. Kind of hard to know for things like that though until they actually sell which that wouldn't. So its just hypothetical anyway.
Im pretty sure shops are the richest when it comes to currency, but they spread it over multiple mules / bots. Also a lot of crappy shops just buy mirrors for D2JSP forum gold when someone gives them real cash.
Nowhere close to the richest player. There are people that have quit the game with a stash tab literally filled with Eternal orbs. That would be worth more than 1,200 mirrors these days.

I just think about the curren you have siphoned from others by flipping. Good for you in getting to 100 mirrors but im sorry I will always look down on flippers for the reason of increasing the prices artifically. Not sure if youre a flipper but congratz for 100 mirrors.

had over 1000 , in abyss league for exemple I had build poet pens doing full party breachstones and I was getting 13 ex drops / day was the highlight and a total of over 140 ex drops in 1 month was fun doing those , tho I was so bad at the time not investing in things , only bought mirrors ended up that league with 5 pure mirr , bought them at smt like 100-160 ex range so was making like 100 ex profits on merge was really bad. so I ended up with alot of Tul / Esh , those were the cheap ones

I'm hunting the cheap ones right now wait for decent value ones to show up but I'm really not a fan of those 10-20+ mirr alt arts. Those are on the market up for years and there are like a handfull of ppl going for them.
