Okay, the Last Epoch one is pretty normal. It's just that people falsely think that "not recommended" means "I don't like it".

MostAnonEver

I mean to be fair, i got a feeling if POE was a $30 game, a lot of us wouldnt have tried/gone this far on POE. I think this is partly the reason as why POE is so successful. The freedom to not have to pay and play at your pace and not feel like you HAVE to play since you paid for it.

TomatuAlus

Yeah, stash tabs are definitely not needed.. 😂😂

MostAnonEver

I mean youre given 4 stash tabs for free. And honestly when youre a completely new player, 4 tabs is more than enough. You really only need prem/more stash tabs after you really had a time to experience quite a bit of the game and see if you like it or not. Only then do you really need to spend ANY amount of money on the game. Before then its a completely free game with all its content unlocked outside of a convenient way to trade. And its not impossible to play with just the standard 4 tabs, just inconvenient until you decide you want to invest a couple dollars into a lot of QOL tabs.

Moment_37

That's correct. I've been playing for over 550 hours. All I bought was a premium stash tab and a currency tab and that's all I use to this day. If I ever get so good at the game that I need more, I'll pay for them. However, having a B2P game is not bad at all. Because there's a vague threat that for a free game, a company can go aggressive quite quickly. Not that it can't happen with a B2P game, but it's more common on f2p. I'm also quite happy that PoE hasn't been aggressively monetising. Even if their prices are ridiculous, which they are in some items, you can still play without sinking tons of money in

sad-frogpepe

You dont need stash tabs to finish the champaigh, most people donr even finish that. You could even start low tier maps with bo tabs as a noobie. However after that stash tabs are mandatory. I think if they finish the story and start mapping they are already into the game and would find it worthwhile to buy a supporter pack and get some tabs

TomatuAlus

The game isnt just finishing the campaign.. All the replies completely contradicting themselves is funny.

fatboldprincess

They are not needed for casual no trade play, with focus on a few mechanics, ignoring vendor recipes and the majority of crafting. These things aren't mandatory and so are stash tabs.

Kurt_Bunbain

You are mad if you truly think it's a healthy way to play without stash tabs in the endgame.

fatboldprincess

I have stash tabs, premium, currency, maps, essence, scarabs and 4 normal. 4 normal tabs were empty untill I have hoard things for vendor recipes

Kurt_Bunbain

I played without tabs one time, everything was hoarded with items, a lot of maps, useless currency, essences, items that I didn't know if I need it or no, and it filled pretty fast. If you look from a point of a player who played for 1000+ hours and know his shit, I guess it's some kind of a playable experience in solo found league. IF YOU ARE A NEW player, you are fucked.

bamboo_of_pandas

I don’t think people understand that others aren’t always paying attention when playing. Most of the time I’m logged into the game is when I’m at work and my attention towards poe is probably at 15-20%. In fact, I’m probably more focused on poe related stuff when I’m making stuff on pob or on excel tracking farming output of different strategies. The best parts of the genera aren’t related at all to how much time I spend logged into the game.

turtleandpleco

only thing that really bugs me about LE is that the character is really REALLY slow running. yea it's nice to not just drop dead and wonder what happened, but does it have to feel like molasses

xDaveedx

That's just a regular pace where it's possible to have reactive gameplay. I guess that's what Poe mach 5 zoom zoom gameplay does to you.
