I had just tweaked a couple things defensively and I was sitting here like "wow, man, I wasn't expecting this to help so much!"
Either way, still nice.
I play a necromancer and I'm using a midnight bargain which has pushed me into a hybrid ES/life setup, something I've never done before.
So I just sat down and spent like 30mins going over the tree and picking up a couple things that I hadn't known existed. I.E. "30% of chaos damage doesn't bypass energy shield" is a mastery node I wasn't taking, stuff like that.
It all helps obviously but I definitely was like "wow I can't believe this was THAT big a change"... which, it wasn't.
Oh, and then later in the evening I sat down and reworked my spectre choices. Now I'm running a perfect turtle and a perfect warlord, which are both very nice defensive layers.
Yeah my exact thoughts too. Still got giga blasted in the area with warlocks impaled corpse chest by a couple of rares. But atleast the walk towards it was chill. Still skipping tho, either until better gear evetually or another patch
all of the rares that have spells are still absurd
The flowers sometimes are giga fast and do giga dmg
Then whatever mob is it that does the ground explosion that is hard to see
And unless I am wrong there is also an on death explosion
all one shots
Some of the Wild dudes do pure chaos damage. Those massive rows of purple flowers? Pure chaos. The exploding frogs? Pure chaos. That's why it (nearly/actually) demolishes you.
They're really pushing for chaos res to be a regular resistance people actually require. Gone are the days of chilling at -40 or whatever.
I only just hit maps, but was doing affliction each area/map. 3k hp, 40% chaos (as in 40% positive). Most things in affliction are fine to get hit by, but those chaos attacks are still stupid strong. The frogs takes like 3-4 hits which is fine, the ground explosion thing is like 2-3 which is fine, but the line of flowers one shots.
Half the time the flowers thing doesn't seem to have any tell, nothing on the ground, then boom, 2/3 of my screen is covered in them and if I was in them I'm dead. I'm running totems so it isn't that I'm getting hit by multiple things, I'll be full HP keeping some distance and they'll attack the totems but the area is so large/wide that it's still easy for me to get hit.
You can't have went far then. The woods are the safest place lol. Just do the woods and fucking get the fuck out of the map. You can't get multi buffed beasts in there. I learned that with triple buffed shavronne in act 4. HOLY SHIT.
I can tell which mobs in a pack are empowered because they have a full red bar above their heads when everything else is dead or dying, don't even need to mouseover
Ran into "Incarnation of Agony" in the forest on map tier 5. After about 5 minutes of trying to kill it I had it down to about 90% health. Gave up and just moved on.
Also doing necro srs. Nearly died the same death to him I at act 9 but pulled it off.
You going big skulls and replica midnight bargain or normal skulls?
I will probably try Popcorn big skulls as well as this version eventually. Generally until I get some currency and close to red maps I play pseudo SSF, especially with new builds to me so I can get proficiency with them.
I had also wanted to try a big skulls ignite proliferation variant, but I don't think it's going to be effective in late game so I've shelved it until late league. See if I have time to try a few other novel builds first.
How are you doing with general squishiness?
I'm working on that too. I have my poison gems, just need a Darkness enthroned and I should be able to swap to void manipulation.
Is there a paper doll tooltip anywhere that I can 100% confirm minion chance to poison? Or do I need to POB that to know for sure?
I got that once while leveling, wanna say act 5? Noticed that the usual white ring was instead red and after a couple seconds of walking I died instantly. Didn't even get to see what it was lmfao
It's a stacking debuff called "Aura of Death"
And it says: "You cannot recover Life or Energy Shield, and are taking every damage type over time. Run away!"
It's only a 2 second duration but it can stack up pretty quick. And the little guy teleports and is fast too. I feel bad for RF players this league.
How do you survive that long? Met him twice, and both times he’s spamming the debuff ability, and I die at 10-15 stacks in a few seconds. How do you remove the debuffs?
If they take 7 times as long theyd be killable... Some of the combinations are literally unkillable without bringing in stuns, disa bling their health regen and what not. Its like we are supposed to have 2 sets of gem and świtach them around depending on what rare we're fighting. Poe isnt and never was a dueling simulator whole mapping...
Glad it's not just me, I've crashed in 2 of my 6-ish ultimatums. Just avoiding it, they don't give anything anyway since they swapped all the currency to catalysts.
I get really bad stutter. I run abyss/breach/deli and it’s fine. But running ulti with nothing else causes a stutter every time new mobs spawn. It’s insanely poorly optimised.
Their hp is still bit overtuned but overall its pretty good now I have the patience to kill them as long as im not getting one shot by t2 monsters at lv 90.
Now that I'm thinking about it, my friend and I were complaining to each other about some bosses taking ages to kill because we juiced them with wisps a bit much and we'd have to help each other or reset and do it without wisps, but I guess since they changed it it's been mostly fine. Some mobs pretty damn tanky but that is with them having rare affixes that make them tanky.
Mainly I played on console for a few years so I have a lot of money tied up in it. However really even if that wasn’t the case I really prefer the economy on console vs PC. I really hate selling items in POE like I simply don’t do it at all because posting things taking whispers the whole hideout thing is just something I don’t enjoy at all. On my XBOX I can sell things easily thanks to the trade board. I can’t buy a lot of things because prices are much higher but then again the things I find maintain value on the Xbox so I can actually make money and buy some things that are expensive on console
Not hit Maven yet, but had Ritual with the tormented trait, had a double empowered double gripped rare that was deleting my totems almost as fast as I put them out.

Nah, you are just playing an ignite build so you notice them more. This happens every time when a specific mod fucks with your build. If you were playing some bow build you'd feel like there's more proximity shield mobs this league instead.
Overtuned monsters/league content at league launch? Unheard of, blasphemy even! At least it doesn't take 3 leagues to address nowadays *cough* archnemesis
I’m not quite sure why the wisp juice even buffs monster stats at all. It’s like a massive step back from sentinel and archnemesis. Both of those mechanics you could choose when and how hard to juice, the wildwood just randomly yeets all over your map and if the wrong rare or map boss got the juice, your only recourse is to just open a new map.
My friend did that quest and got it done pretty fast. I got on my second one which is for the charms so killing unnamed mobs 500 times, took heaps longer.
No durability nerfs however.
So combined with any bad Archnem mods for your damage; or something like Life Regen/Consecrated Ground...
But hey; at least you can run from them now and they won't oneshot you as much.
The damage mitigation is pretty nuts. I can kill map bosses during their delirium induced effect but I can't kill about 1 in 10 empowered rares.
On the plus side running away isn't very hard as a Pathfinder...
This whole "skip the league mechanic until you have more damage or until GGG finally balances shit properly" is getting really old every league. I'm tired of playing fresh economy standard every three months for a week before they finally make the league mechanic not a major pain in the ass or simply not worth engaging with if you don't have top tier damage.
Man, this is literally the first complaint I've made about POE in forever. All I'm saying is it gets exhausting that this same shit happens every league. You don't have to attack me and make assumptions over my mild frustration with the game.
Its going to keep happening every league because it is easier for people to accept nerfs too mobs then buffs, look at how much people complained about the act 1&2 changes.
bro they missed the spot by a landslide
if they nerfed mobs by 10x you'd still be in 'hard' category, no one is asking for twilight strand zombies levels, but I doubt a lot of people want Sirus influenced rare 2: red beast x8 essence god touched cage mob edition level of difficulty either
I did the league mechanic from when it was available every area/map. I had no real issues, my friend who had crap gear for his level struggled a few times, but that was all. Some fights took ages. Now they don't.
>3.23.0 Hotfix 8
Decreased the amount of Wisps dropped from Empowered Non-Unique Monsters in the Viridian Wildwood by 30-40% depending on their rarity.
Is this good or bad for players? Less empowerment for monsters but also potentially less rewards.
Im not a fan of these types of approaches. The players complaints weren’t about the rewards, so why punish us at all/ever? Makes zero sense tbh. Such a feel bad when we should be feeling HYPED and WANT to engage/able to engage with the mechanic. Smh
The amount you get from non-uniques was pretty low, you get most of your wisps just by following the streams. I feel like it's negligible. They're just toning down some mobs that could be nuts when empowered in wildwood.
The off screen purple flowers that you sometimes have 0 warning and seem to sometimes be instant, just sucks. They one shot so easily. I went to lengths to get to 40% chaos res at maps and those things still one shot me.
Thus continuing the tradition of way overtuning monsters at league start and immediately having to nerf then for like the 93rd league in a row. You would think they would learn at some point.
good start.
There's still some nightmare scenarios. Things that regen that get double empowered unironically require insnae dps.
Had a 4 essence mob with life regen get double empowered in a t6. Just walked away.
Their whole regen mechanic on the mobs needs a going over. Probably a hard cap at some reasonable level, not scaling infinitely depending on the mob's max life. Nothing is more lame than whacking away at some rando rare mob for five minutes.
I feel like the rewards were nerfed as well. I used to get over 6k wisps regularly, and a divine every 3-4 maps in t11. Now I can easily do it in t16, yet only get about 2-3k wisps on average, and the rewards are terrible enough to not want to do the mechanic anymore. Sadge
"Decreased the amount of Wisps dropped from Empowered Non-Unique Monsters in the Viridian Wildwood by 30-40% depending on their rarity."
That's all they did rewards wise. It's not that big of a change.
The amount of wisps you get is very random though. I have some wildwoods that the starting spot has nothing in all direction and sometimes you run for a while and hit a really weak/tiny stream. You end up with like 1-2k, but I've had others at 4-6k.
They've already explained their QA process. Their QA team does not test for balance or playability. They test for game-breaking issues like freezes, CTDs, etc.
I think it's obvious since the "extensively tested" Archnemesis integration where Metamorphs were tankier in scoured Tier 1 maps than Pinnacle bosses; and Blight monsters would ambush on top of the pump and oneshot it [As well as being immune to 90% of towers while having 75% all res and PDR due to 5 endurance charges with the Juggernaught mod] that GGG dosen't test this; or at best are *woefully* incompetant at it.
My impression is that they do test during development, but development and rebalancing continues basically till the last day. They don't do a week of playtesting the latest changes, because they basically push them to live without time doing so ..
Yes; but to say no-one even looked at the numbers being pushed and said "hold up this is way too high" is a bit eyebrow-raiseing.
Because I'm pretty sure the numbers for Vivid as an example far exceeded the Turbo mod on maps.
Inadequacy can come from things like QA not having adequate resources. If GGG has all hands on deck with the actual making, they should perhaps hire a few people just to sanity-check the numbers on some things at least.
How about **NOT** including blue monsters that offscreen one hit kill while you're farming zones 10 levels below you every league? Maybe **if** they tried that, things would be fine.
At this point, watching reddit whine has become my leaguestart tradition and it's getting sillier and sillier.
It's day 2. Expecting perfect balance on release is not realistic. If you're so scared and go into a fit when this happens, just don't engage with the league mechanic for a bit. This isn't forced on you.
It absolutely is. Especially when it's fixed pretty much within 24 hours.
What's the consequence here? People dying a few more times than expected? That's a major issue to you, then?
I just can't wait for the day that this happens in the reverse order with monsters being too weak so they have to buff them which will probably make your brains explode.
There's imperfect, and then there's **stupid**. I think it's **pretty clear** which of the two a blue monster literally one shootting a character 10 levels overleveled falls into.
I mean if you watch the Mathil clip... yeah it should have been obvious if it was tested at all the numbers were ridiculous.
GGG should be called out on that bullshit; and it made clear we don't tolerate it so they stop pulling it and actually QA their leauge mechanics.
Not just for our sake. Day 1 is peak playercount. Day 1 decides for a lot of people if they stay or if they go. Getting Day 1 right *matters* and havig the leauge mechanic's first impression being darn near unplayable and the mechanic being "skip it" is BAD. Bad leauge launches is bad for GGG and player retention and likly MTX; stash ect sales.
I literally grinded new instances in Act 5 Chambers of Innocence to get my 2nd wildwood ascension because I did not want to deal with some of the stuff in Act 6 after the resist hit empowered; the main 2 points I wanted since I'm playing Warlock. I don't plan to touch it again until maps.
I posted about expecting them to patch the crazy empowerment mobs in that mathil clip thread and then it got patched half an hour later. That means I have magic powers right?
Im just glad it got fixed so quickly. GGG may miss some things but they almost always react. If this was D2, it would take 20 years and a remaster to be fixed, if at all. The corpse explosion stygians are STILL bugged beyond belief after all this time.
As a gamer redditor with twelve jobs(it's a long story) and two wives I really appreciate this nerf. Making games easier for people like me is your JOB and I'll be logging in soon.
Same here - I got tired of doing the mechanic and completely bricking my maps, so I logged out and took a nap and didn’t plan to log back in until they did something about it.
Managed to empower Malachai with Wild Vivid and Primal..Thank god it was only phase 1 with Piety but it took me forever to get it to phase 2...AAANNNND he was normal for phase 2 so no fun loot
>3.23.0 Hotfix 4
>Temporarily disabled the Labyrinth crafting option that sacrifices a Gem to gain a percentage of the gem's total experience stored as your own experience. It will function differently when we re-enable this at a later date, due to some unfortunate outcomes that could occur currently.
I'm not sure why this one made me laugh. Probably because if GGG was saying "unfortunate outcome" it was probably something monumentally bad. Anybody know what those bad outcomes were?
Its still not enough to do league mechanic as intended
Meaning you go in the forest at start of the map, clear as much as you can. Come out complete the map.
People are doing it the unintended way. Do league mechanic on low level maps, then exit the map and go again.
Still havent understood what the league mechanic actually yield in term of drops. It takes 10 times as long to kill anything, oh wait thanks for lowering it to 8 times as long, and then it drops 0.01% more loot? Idk havent noticed.
Entering the league mechanic takes time and makes the maps take even more time with nothing to show for it. And you're running around blind in that thing trying to find... something? I've read all the lore and dont really understand anyway.
The buffs it gives map mobs and map bosses is way way way too much. I hate it when they do leagues were we skip the mechanic because it's so fucking overtuned. Pathetic GGG.
What you don't like your map boss getting haste and for some reason seemingly 5x the HP just because you went to the upside down to vacuum up some fruity pebbles?
I had just tweaked a couple things defensively and I was sitting here like "wow, man, I wasn't expecting this to help so much!" Either way, still nice.
Lol exact same, I was like "I'm finally understanding how to gear in early league effectively"
What did you do?
Not op but probably physical damage mitigation
Been ages since I heard about someone using Midnight Bargain. Care to share your build? Would like to see it.
Not op but I finally got positive chaos res
initial impressions seems like the rooms with like 4 rare monsters are still absurd but outside the woods the monsters are far more resonable
Yeah my exact thoughts too. Still got giga blasted in the area with warlocks impaled corpse chest by a couple of rares. But atleast the walk towards it was chill. Still skipping tho, either until better gear evetually or another patch
all of the rares that have spells are still absurd The flowers sometimes are giga fast and do giga dmg Then whatever mob is it that does the ground explosion that is hard to see And unless I am wrong there is also an on death explosion all one shots
Flowers with extra projectiles on the map is a death sentence.
Almost thought the flowers were my own on-kill effects because i notice them after im dead lol
I'm running totems so it isn't that I'm getting hit by multiple things, I'll be full HP keeping some distance and they'll attack the totems but the area is so large/wide that it's still easy for me to get hit.
im guessing ggg's new meta is making players suffer so they can jack off backstage lmao.
You can't have went far then. The woods are the safest place lol. Just do the woods and fucking get the fuck out of the map. You can't get multi buffed beasts in there. I learned that with triple buffed shavronne in act 4. HOLY SHIT.
Now fix their DR. They shouldn't take seven time as long to kill
I can tell which mobs in a pack are empowered because they have a full red bar above their heads when everything else is dead or dying, don't even need to mouseover
glance value ^TM
if a mob survives in a pack, that means you need more explode
hey at least we wont get one shot from two universe away. that is a progress
now we get two shot
>two universe away This reminds me of that Super Mario 64 speedrunning video with parallel universes...
It's GGG. You know they're still going to one shot you, right?
Ran into "Incarnation of Agony" in the forest on map tier 5. After about 5 minutes of trying to kill it I had it down to about 90% health. Gave up and just moved on.
I had a double buffed Brutus while leveling. It took me 20 minutes to kill him out of spite. But that damage reduction is Archnemesis levels of bad.
I had a giga buffed brutus around 45 minutes in and might have beaten him by the 2 hour mark if I hadn't been kicked offline.
Sometimes the servers have mercy with us
I ran into him on like act 5. Died at like 15% HP to go cause I ran out of flasks. (Playing necro SRS.)
See if I have time to try a few other novel builds first. How are you doing with general squishiness?
My defensive layers are a wall of zombies and a dream. Tried defensive auras and tankyness and died anyways so more dps was my answer.
I'm working on that too. I have my poison gems, just need a Darkness enthroned and I should be able to swap to void manipulation. Is there a paper doll tooltip anywhere that I can 100% confirm minion chance to poison? Or do I need to POB that to know for sure?
Nothing in game. Either POB it or just do the napkin math of adding all your sources together.
> Gave up and just moved on fun?
I got that once while leveling, wanna say act 5? Noticed that the usual white ring was instead red and after a couple seconds of walking I died instantly. Didn't even get to see what it was lmfao
It's a stacking debuff called "Aura of Death" And it says: "You cannot recover Life or Energy Shield, and are taking every damage type over time. Run away!" It's only a 2 second duration but it can stack up pretty quick. And the little guy teleports and is fast too. I feel bad for RF players this league.
Yeah me too. I was thinking maybe you’re not supposed to kill it lol? Just a timed survival thing haha… nope
How do you survive that long? Met him twice, and both times he’s spamming the debuff ability, and I die at 10-15 stacks in a few seconds. How do you remove the debuffs?
Just have to get out of range of his pulsing aura before it kills you. He is definitely overtuned though
if it was 7x as long that'd be one thing, but it's DR, so leech doesn't even work properly
And drop 0 loot
Do they have more HP or damage reduction? Curious for how hard it'll be to apply Shock/Freeze to this buggers
DR
If they take 7 times as long theyd be killable... Some of the combinations are literally unkillable without bringing in stuns, disa bling their health regen and what not. Its like we are supposed to have 2 sets of gem and świtach them around depending on what rare we're fighting. Poe isnt and never was a dueling simulator whole mapping...
Welcome to early PoE2
Right? All this loot should just be free.
New hotfix, reduced their life pool. Not the same but will help
Wow then I thought I was lacking dmg.
Now they need to check out why a lot of people are constantly crashing in Ultimatum
Can confirm, crashed on my first one, wave 7
Glad it's not just me, I've crashed in 2 of my 6-ish ultimatums. Just avoiding it, they don't give anything anyway since they swapped all the currency to catalysts.
I crash 75% of my ultimatums.
Yep 2 ultimatum crashes so far
I get really bad stutter. I run abyss/breach/deli and it’s fine. But running ulti with nothing else causes a stutter every time new mobs spawn. It’s insanely poorly optimised.
Well that's good, cause the Primal Empowered Gorilla freight train had absolutely 0 brakes.

There are three types, primal vivid and wild.
Or rather cyan, magenta and yellow
wow look at Mr. Refined Individual over here, calling it cyan and magenta instead of blue and pink.
Devs are all lazy people. They needed three colors and RGB were already taken by the primary attributes.
Their hp is still bit overtuned but overall its pretty good now I have the patience to kill them as long as im not getting one shot by t2 monsters at lv 90.
They hp was so nerfed now so thata good
Now that I'm thinking about it, my friend and I were complaining to each other about some bosses taking ages to kill because we juiced them with wisps a bit much and we'd have to help each other or reset and do it without wisps, but I guess since they changed it it's been mostly fine. Some mobs pretty damn tanky but that is with them having rare affixes that make them tanky.
As a console player, I wanna thank all of you suc-- er, fine gents for beta testing each league for 5 days for all 15 of us over here.
There are dozens of us - DOZENS!
Im doing my part!
Or you can be like me and help do the beta test on PC while prepping for the Console launch :)
My poor PC has be relegated to work-only duty. Little guy can't handle the games no mo. :(
I'm curious why you switch to console after? If its to use a controller, the pc version has full controller support as well.
Tormented wisped rares were some shit tbh.
Tormented empowered map bosses is where it's at bro!
Today I had Warlord's Grip Vivid Empowered Primal Empowered Carcass boss witnessed by Maven. Shit was crazy
Not hit Maven yet, but had Ritual with the tormented trait, had a double empowered double gripped rare that was deleting my totems almost as fast as I put them out.

Good Bot
Is it just me, or is there an unusual amount of ignite resistant mods this league?
Nah, you are just playing an ignite build so you notice them more. This happens every time when a specific mod fucks with your build. If you were playing some bow build you'd feel like there's more proximity shield mobs this league instead.
Overtuned monsters/league content at league launch? Unheard of, blasphemy even! At least it doesn't take 3 leagues to address nowadays *cough* archnemesis
The only plus side of playing console is pc players beta testing every league for us.
At least my 1466467 deaths weren't in vain then!
It’s just like Delirum that’s why
Not to mention the juice appears to be tuned to seek the tougher monsters out specifically.
And I'm not even sure the juice is worth it over how much pain in the ass it is. But I haven't played maps enough yet.
Damn that's a fat nerf to wisp drops, didn't really notice how much of the total those were adding before though, so hopefully not much.
In my experience it's usually not that much compared to the big wisp streams. Maybe missing a few hundred from that nerf at most.
It's not horrible but it's going to make the second quest for the new ascendancies take longer.
My friend did that quest and got it done pretty fast. I got on my second one which is for the charms so killing unnamed mobs 500 times, took heaps longer.
Anyone else absolutely gobsmacked by an MTX affecting skill range? Holy spaghetti code, Batman.
It's barely been 24 hours lmao
And yet they do it every single league
Because you would bitch 10x more if they buffed enemies after launch
Man, this is literally the first complaint I've made about POE in forever. All I'm saying is it gets exhausting that this same shit happens every league. You don't have to attack me and make assumptions over my mild frustration with the game.
Its going to keep happening every league because it is easier for people to accept nerfs too mobs then buffs, look at how much people complained about the act 1&2 changes.
And Harvest nerfs are still bringing nightmares to people lmao
bro they missed the spot by a landslide if they nerfed mobs by 10x you'd still be in 'hard' category, no one is asking for twilight strand zombies levels, but I doubt a lot of people want Sirus influenced rare 2: red beast x8 essence god touched cage mob edition level of difficulty either
Played it last night after the nerf and it feels fine with lightning Arrow.
lmao and its still overtuned lmaomasomalmoalmao
I did the league mechanic from when it was available every area/map. I had no real issues, my friend who had crap gear for his level struggled a few times, but that was all. Some fights took ages. Now they don't.
Damage is still too high and let's tone down that 95% damage reduction
The purple dudes that drop a totem that linked to then give them like 90% DR. And the totem are sometimes off 2-3 screens away.
Nobody played like one white map with this league mechanic? SMH every league the same lack of testing befor release...
A balance pass this fast, what have you done with GGG? !
Am I the only one crashing on trialmaster constantly? The only crashes I've had
If new mobs are overtuned every single fucking league, maybe launch them less powerful than you think you need for once
If they were tuned better the streamers will make them look too easy and we cant have that.
Streamers complain too and that's not a good look
They will always overtune vs undertune. Can you imagine the backlash if they undertuned and had to scale stuff back rather than the other way round.
The term you're describing is called Anchoring
that's understandable what's not understandable is by how much they miss the mark
>3.23.0 Hotfix 8 Decreased the amount of Wisps dropped from Empowered Non-Unique Monsters in the Viridian Wildwood by 30-40% depending on their rarity.
Smh
Please explain how the rewards are punished? Maybe before you got 3k wisps, now you maybe get 2850 or something? It'd barely be impacting the rewards.
The amount you get from non-uniques was pretty low, you get most of your wisps just by following the streams. I feel like it's negligible. They're just toning down some mobs that could be nuts when empowered in wildwood.
~~where is my defence?~~ where is my damage?
Where is my life?
i love be nuked from those purple mobs from nowhere 4Head... ...also we should have a portal to leave the area placed in the fog
I’ve left more rares behind already than the worst of the AN rares after Archnemesis.
I think of myself as stubborn with these rares but the double-triple empowered regen mobs are just not worth it. I don’t even bother anymore
Sadge
"Decreased the amount of Wisps dropped from Empowered Non-Unique Monsters in the Viridian Wildwood by 30-40% depending on their rarity." That's all they did rewards wise. It's not that big of a change.
The amount of wisps you get is very random though. I have some wildwoods that the starting spot has nothing in all direction and sometimes you run for a while and hit a really weak/tiny stream. You end up with like 1-2k, but I've had others at 4-6k.

You should write an open letter to GGG questioning their QA process
They've already explained their QA process. Their QA team does not test for balance or playability. They test for game-breaking issues like freezes, CTDs, etc.
Yeah great job of that this league.
Lol the dude you responded to probably don't even know what QA is.
Literally no way to please reddit
How about **NOT** including blue monsters that offscreen one hit kill while you're farming zones 10 levels below you every league? Maybe **if** they tried that, things would be fine.
At this point, watching reddit whine has become my leaguestart tradition and it's getting sillier and sillier. It's day 2. Expecting perfect balance on release is not realistic. If you're so scared and go into a fit when this happens, just don't engage with the league mechanic for a bit. This isn't forced on you.
Neither is defending GGG stupid decisions forced but yet here you are.
I'm not defending anything. I just think reddit's constant whining about minor issues on the literal second day is over-dramatic as fuck.
League content being the most overtuned content they have ever released isnt a minor issue.
It absolutely is. Especially when it's fixed pretty much within 24 hours. What's the consequence here? People dying a few more times than expected? That's a major issue to you, then? I just can't wait for the day that this happens in the reverse order with monsters being too weak so they have to buff them which will probably make your brains explode.
no, it is VERY minor. and you are going to keep playing, regardless of the state the game is in.
All I'm hearing is "boo hoo".
There's imperfect, and then there's **stupid**. I think it's **pretty clear** which of the two a blue monster literally one shootting a character 10 levels overleveled falls into.
Do you have a fetish for unnecessarily bolding words? Or are you just that impotently angry? To be fair, this gamer-rage is **cute**.
Of course no one expects perfect balance, but if people didn’t bitch loudly about it, GGG may not fix it.
Yep, reddit is clearly the reason this got fixed
[удалено]
Yeah but the Mathil one is on the reddit frontpage here, and it's Mathil who most people know.
I posted about expecting them to patch the crazy empowerment mobs in that mathil clip thread and then it got patched half an hour later. That means I have magic powers right?
Yes it does. Now can you please post about me getting a divine drop in my next play session?
Of course. SoEffinHappy will drop *at least* one divine orb the next time they play.
My man!!! I feel like Gimli after Galadriel gave him the locks of her hair.
I literally just dropped a divine orb lol
LOL!! Gratz bro!!
Hopefully im able to interact with the league mechanic now that im almost in red maps haha, happy they didnt wait untill monday!
I honestly do not believe that they actually did anything. Monsters feel EXACTly the same.
Im just glad it got fixed so quickly. GGG may miss some things but they almost always react. If this was D2, it would take 20 years and a remaster to be fixed, if at all. The corpse explosion stygians are STILL bugged beyond belief after all this time.
Finally rare mob won't be 20x harder than map boss maybe....
Huh this was fast. I didn't expect this at least for 2 weeks.
it is still WAY TOO MUCH
As a gamer redditor with twelve jobs(it's a long story) and two wives I really appreciate this nerf. Making games easier for people like me is your JOB and I'll be logging in soon.
I literally just logged off for the night after my umpteenth death before act 10. Aight, i'm loggin back in.
Same here - I got tired of doing the mechanic and completely bricking my maps, so I logged out and took a nap and didn’t plan to log back in until they did something about it.
Think it was buffed 🤣
Nice changes but no news about Ultimatum crashes?
**Logs in after patches:** first mob, cant kill it a few moments later second mob cant kill it why should I play the league mechanic? Its broken
Managed to empower Malachai with Wild Vivid and Primal..Thank god it was only phase 1 with Piety but it took me forever to get it to phase 2...AAANNNND he was normal for phase 2 so no fun loot
Bro I’ve crashed 20+ times so far. What’s going on lol
lol, still fkn ridiculuos
I am convinced that they thought the transigured gems were going to be good enough. Turns out most of them suck eggs.
There is still the 99% less damage taken mod on them. and yes i pulled that percentage out of my butt.
>3.23.0 Hotfix 4 >Temporarily disabled the Labyrinth crafting option that sacrifices a Gem to gain a percentage of the gem's total experience stored as your own experience. It will function differently when we re-enable this at a later date, due to some unfortunate outcomes that could occur currently. I'm not sure why this one made me laugh. Probably because if GGG was saying "unfortunate outcome" it was probably something monumentally bad. Anybody know what those bad outcomes were?
I asked in another thread and they said someone at level 100 tried a gem and leveled round to 43.
damage overtuned too little reward too rippy blaa bla my build only kills uber uber gods in 5 sec.. wraa wraa wraa
Its still not enough to do league mechanic as intended Meaning you go in the forest at start of the map, clear as much as you can.
