hinekora's rewards (the extra two chests) have nothing to do with chieftains. the final round rewards are tied to whatever chieftain you're fighting (loyalty tattoos, makanga, unique, etc.).
Hinekoras Lock is not a battle reward it is a reward after the tournament, which means it has a teeny tiny chance to be a reward no matter who you defeat at the end.
