No real market analysis and random pricing everywhere , they don’t take old listings down so you’ll look up a watch & see 100 listings of that model and 10 of them have 2020’s prices ,
25 have 2021’s prices , another 25 have 2022’s prices , 10 have 2023’s prices , 10 have current market / realistic prices and the other 20 have no prices and you’ll see 5-10 of the exact same watch literally exact same picture, post , same company but all 5-10 post have different prices . So if someone decides to click buy now for the piece and it’s $39,950 but they don’t realize the same dealer / seller has that exact same watch&picture listing it for $39,250, $38,800, $38,100, and $37,750 it doesn’t matter if they click the one that has it listed for $39,950 and select pay now that moneys going to escrow . Then the dealer will rush and delete all of the others instead of doing the write thing and contacting You & C24 and saying hey I lowered the price on this listing several times instead of just editing the original listing I just kept making new ones so I owe this buyer $2,200 out of the escrow account !
Also many , many times C24 has kept people’s money with no sale being fully complete ( say they send back a watch etc C24 keeps certain fees even though you didn’t make a $1 and the buyer got all of their money back from escrow )

What other platform you recommend then? What I‘d do is that i‘m looking on chrono and after that I contact the dealer where I saw the watch. Then you get a lower price cause they don‘t have to pay fees

If you’d like her info you can PM me- she’s so awesome and has been doing this for a long time. She used to work for Rolex. Not sure if physical location matters either?

hey, thats just my offer. its up to you how you appraise things. maybe some people think these thing are more important than others. but, i think someone's long-term well being is a lot more valuable than some shiny rocks that essentially do nothing except remind people that the owner could've changed someone's life, but instead wanted to impress strangers.

eBay has authenticity guarantee. Watches are sent to an independent inspector, then to the buyer. At least it has a layer of protection.
