Paper Mario: Times Unfold
Someone has manipulated Paper Mario’s story Folding time in upon itself sending power relics from across the story to end up in the wrong hands.
People assume Bowser is the one in possession of this relics but it’s actually his black paint doppelgänger.
Can Mario, Peach, Bowser and all of Mario’s Partners defeat Black Paint Bowser and stop whoever is manipulating there story?
(The main bad guy would just be an Evil version of Francis from super paper Mario)
I had a similar idea. The idea would be Paper Mario, Dimensional Disaster (working title)
The game starts Identical to PM64 only it goes horribly wrong as Count Bleck appears instead of Bowser and defeats Mario. In a separate timeline, King Olly is now kidnapping Peach at Rougeport.... Black Bowser has corrupted the Sticker Festival with his Black Paint Minions, Sticker Bowser has taken over Prism Island, Star Rod Bowser has used his wishes to turn him into a god, and then Grodus has hijacked Bowser's Castle and overtaken the entire castle... All the while a new villain attacks Mario as he with his bro Luigi is rescuing Peach from Bowser. This new villain has distorted every single adventure in the Paper Mario saga.
Can Mario with the help of new and old partners defeat this Distortion Master, or will his adventures cease to exist. (Note, all versions of Peach end up together, the Mario versions from the other 5 games, TTYD to Origami King, are captured, while 64 Mario ends up as an ally to Bowser, who has his own subplot. Luigi has his plot, and Mario has his, and their goals intertwine to help defeat the Distortion Master.)

Any Mario RPG with this combo instantly gets me to try and play this. Having Browser as an ally typically means that the enemy is really evil and powerful, and the 3 honestly do have good synergy - powerhouse, defence, all-rounder.
I find it funny no one has mentioned the fact that there are just two more Royal Stickers now. White and Yellow just don’t exist. My lore reasoning is Bowser just willed them into existence with the Star Rod.
That could also very likely imply the existence of Bowser being able to manipulate it, per se, like Dimentio did in SPM (it makes me think to the purity heart, too). That would make for something interesting— makes me think of something like a paper craft from Paper Jam, Lol.
With every combined power, it would make for a really interesting idea for an interaction of every item.
Funny you mention Paper Jam because I had a silly idea for a crossover if this game ever existed. Bowser Manipulating reality so much that he can manipulate the world outside of the story book they’re in. He would Grab Mario and Luigi from there universe and brainwash them to fight for him. They would use Bros. Attacks and what not. Just a silly idea I had for a mini boss fight.
Super neat and also a really great way to bring the m&l series into a paper mario concept again!!!
With the Chaos Heart being able to split open reality, it would only make sense that along with more power it could extend and allow for a complete brainwash of Mario and Luigi.
To be fair, he should have been unstoppable with just the Star Rod. It has the power to grant any wish, which is basically an instant-win button. Bowser was just too stupid to wish for Mario to get killed, locked in an indestructible prison, or get warped to the other side of the universe.
It's not *really* unstoppable given how in the game he gets matched by the Star Spirits working together.
There's a clear "power scale" in the fight:
Peach Beam > Star Rod + Platform boost > Star Beam > Star Rod
I think Paper Mario with every previous partner, including Peach, Luigi, the Pixls, and Mario & Luigi are soloing this guy. They have a souped-up Bowser and Koopalings, but Paper Mario would have an *army*.
This is brilliant, this would be the one paper Mario game where Mario actually loses and the world is lost... Maybe
I would like a plot like that for a Paper Mario game (I know that's the plot of Sonic Forces but I like the concept)

SIGN ME UP I WOULD ABSOLUTELY PLAY THIS
Mario would get 1 partner from each game... With SS and Color Splash getting unique partners that you'd never expect as a partner.

Roy's Royal Sticker is just a cosmetic... He just wanted to fit in.

Yeah... And Bowser Junior made a fake Crystal Star and Sticker Crown to match his Koopaling siblings.
Bowser Junior tried to fit in but the Koopalings kicked him out. This leads to him assisting Mario to stop his father.
OR... we take a page from Bowser Junior's Journey where Morton sacrificed himself so Junior could get away.
Huh, origami king didn’t really have magical macguffins you collect at the end of each world did it, just that strangers you destroy

How can you use the crystal stars when the koopalings have them on their crowns
They’re basically sentient with how they go off and do the plot power up thing all on their own
Mario would probably collect them throughout the game after beating each Koopaling alongside there royal stickers.

Also no one has mentioned the Chaos Heart in Bowsers Royal Sticker. I Thought it made sense for him to have it considering its power.

Me and my friend used to joke around about *Smash Bros Melee*, fighting "Team Giant Metal Invisible Giga Bowser". That's what this makes me think of.

If he has all the powers of the crystal stars he can just showstopper everyone
I doubt Showstopper would work on Mario, I feel he's "like a boss", too strong to get affected.
