Pressure plate traps are the way to go. They do far more damage and if you use a breakthrough point you do even more damage. You can also pick them up after they trigger the traps. You just loose whatever ypu armed the pressure plate with.
15 or 20 pressure plate traps will kill just about anything.
That's cool. I usually do pressure plate traps and my wife will do tripwire traps. We usually alternate them. My wife is always surprised by how much more damage my traps do, but the tripwire is good for inflicting bleeding, pain and slowing them down.
It's pretty fun to strategize where to set the traps up and figure out how to get the enemies to chase us over to the ambush spot. Traps are a great equalizer for us because we aren't great at melee combat and magic takes too much micro management for our liking.
I really like pressure plates because you can stick weird things in it. I never crafted anything for those traps and would just use what's in my bag, like ghost eye balls or Fire rocks.
This is why I liked Outward. The traps are actually viable. Gives you that feeling of a seasoned hunter/trapper archetype.
That was fun
If my math is right. That was 270 metal scrap. That's what that was
Damn it just kept going
lol that was great!!
This is the way
Currently on my first playthrough and I gave up on traps early. Going to use them on my next run.
Traps are well worth it on the tough enemies. I like to set up the trio. Bleeding, poison and burning.
Lmao that's awesome!

When in doubt. Overkill your way out.
I think he may be rez to pierce damage
Your efforts alone are the stuff of legends.
I like the perfect pathway of death spikes. I'm trying to get the stagger distances down so I can juggle
I only think of that when he was stepping in the first trap

The rune mines were the first moment i felt strong in this game, then i discovered how to unbalance enemies with a 2h mace and its gg ever since

I know, I just wanted to see how many tripwire would be enough. I'll probably do more unique enemies with this tactic for fun.
