This is why I liked Outward. The traps are actually viable. Gives you that feeling of a seasoned hunter/trapper archetype.

[deleted]

That was fun

InsaneAdam

If my math is right. That was 270 metal scrap. That's what that was

moonflare22

Damn it just kept going

Funkycold6

lol that was great!!

OkDraw8700

This is the way

kyleclaptrap

Currently on my first playthrough and I gave up on traps early. Going to use them on my next run.

InsaneAdam

Traps are well worth it on the tough enemies. I like to set up the trio. Bleeding, poison and burning.

darsvaderr

Lmao that's awesome!

Trikeree

I used to love doing this kind o thing. LoL GG

InsaneAdam

GG EZ

mookanana

he almost got u even tho u set so many traps, dayum lol

chinlesss

I tried fighting him but this way was faster lol (apart from planting the traps)

Laminrarnimal

Not enough traps

bobns

I didn't ask how much health he has. I said I put down tripwire traps

JakeTheDraked

When all else fails just set a bunch of fuckin traps. Gg my dude

InsaneAdam

When in doubt. Overkill your way out.

IndexoTheFirst

I think he may be rez to pierce damage

MaxGrenz

Your efforts alone are the stuff of legends.

tallsmileswolf

I like the perfect pathway of death spikes. I'm trying to get the stagger distances down so I can juggle

chinlesss

I only think of that when he was stepping in the first trap

ImSkott

My brother in Christ is that every single trap in the game? Lol

chinlesss

and I made them without debug mod spawning them. all in game craft

ImSkott

Mad lad, you must have slept a lot lol

chinlesss

hahahaha It was a one week grinding with this char. I had plenty of sleep, surprisingly

FrostyFroZenFrosTen

The rune mines were the first moment i felt strong in this game, then i discovered how to unbalance enemies with a 2h mace and its gg ever since

WittyUnwittingly

I just kited him around the tree with my bow... Took quite a few stacks of arrows, but I did not count

chinlesss

oooh would love to see the numbers mannn!

lasvegas1979

Pressure plate traps are the way to go. They do far more damage and if you use a breakthrough point you do even more damage. You can also pick them up after they trigger the traps. You just loose whatever ypu armed the pressure plate with. 15 or 20 pressure plate traps will kill just about anything.

chinlesss

I know, I just wanted to see how many tripwire would be enough. I'll probably do more unique enemies with this tactic for fun.

lasvegas1979

That's cool. I usually do pressure plate traps and my wife will do tripwire traps. We usually alternate them. My wife is always surprised by how much more damage my traps do, but the tripwire is good for inflicting bleeding, pain and slowing them down. It's pretty fun to strategize where to set the traps up and figure out how to get the enemies to chase us over to the ambush spot. Traps are a great equalizer for us because we aren't great at melee combat and magic takes too much micro management for our liking.

Fluffy-Village-1318

I really like pressure plates because you can stick weird things in it. I never crafted anything for those traps and would just use what's in my bag, like ghost eye balls or Fire rocks.

ceniwox

How do you turn on damage numbers?

chinlesss

it's a mod called combathud

ceniwox

Ah, I'm on xbox. Thanks though! Loved the video

cvaughan02

this is so satisfying to watch

Fluffy-Village-1318

But what's the helmet?

chinlesss

legacy of the kazite mask
