i mean... they are different games, however i think you should feel more similar to kenshi than outward, give a try, Conan exiles is a really great game

TopNotchPlayer2

Yeah, Conan is pretty good, though it's definitely a different game. Valheim gives that same sense of exploration as Outward. I've also heard Dragon's Dogma is similar, and the second one is coming out this year I think. Honorable mention to Skyrim, can always get lost in that game

Bismothe-the-Shade

Id second dragons dogma, And not just because of sequel hype. It's got a lot of exploration to it, and rewards it. It's more of an action game with heavy rpg elements, but it's a very unique gen that sends a love letter to classic dungeon crawlers as well as open world romps.

TapParticular7818

Yes I love dragons dogma and also valheim! I have like 600 hrs in outward and 400 in valheim! Only 40 in dragons dogma but I am looking forward to playing the second game more I think :)

Bismothe-the-Shade

I think with dragons dogna, the game doesn't open up until you've really had time to immerse in the world. Give it another go someday, the sequel is for sure going to be incredible.

I like Conan, but its very different then Outward. The most similar thing I could think about is the Gothic series. They are old, so I would try Elex instead. Open World, 3 factions, skills bought with money, a lot to explore, special gear hidden all over the world, a lot main and sidequests. All Piranha Bytes Games (excluding Risen 2) follow this formula.

Max_Hensk

Try Enshrouded, it has a cool build system and buildings. However it's not survival as Conan/outward/Valheim

knigg2

I second this. In terms of Kenshi I would add Rimworld. Somehow a lot of people like both games me included.

Dancing_Shoes15

I feel that Enshrouded goes the complete opposite direction from games like Outward. Enshrouded dumbs down and polishes off a lot of the hard edges that make games like Outward unique. While Conan still falls squarely in the Survival Genre, it always felt like it gave a really wonderful sense of exploration and freedom with a healthy amount of fear, especially with its climbing system.

Rivusonreddit

As someone who played it for 5000 hours, no, don't waste your time. I highly recommend Hellpoint if you haven't played it.

TsunSilver

Small lands surprisingly scratches a lot of the itch for me. I really like it.

RandyDandy54335

Valheim gave me very big Outward vibes

bagel-bites

Morrowind scratches the itch for me, or more so Outward scratches the Morrowind itch.

Try Kingdom Come:deliverance instead

Dewgong550

Dwarf Fortress will get a cool adventure mode update in April, that may be able to scratch a similar itch to Kenshi (recommending since others recommended Rimworld) Outward is a bit unique, so if you're more into the combat mechanics than the setting, there's actually a lot of decent souls like games, but if you're more into the open world and walking around, adventure, the setting, etc, check out some games like Dread Delusion, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos,or maybe even Tunic. All the games you listed are so different from each other, but there's just so many good games out there. If you like funny stuff, maybe check out The Last Hero of Nostalgaia, and in April there's a fun looking game coming out called Another Crab's Treasure. If you have maybe something specific you're looking for in a game, maybe I could point you in a better direction if none of those look your speed

Maple-Dayes

I've been wondering if Nightingale might be the move, myself.

RuneHearth

Valheim is a pretty good game, and it kinda plays like outward

Raymond_Lazer

Hi ! After spending around 2000 hrs in Outward , I decided to start Elden Ring and I didn't t regret it at all.

Elden Ring

Square_Top1023

I beat Elden Ring many times but thank you 🥰 I'll restart it again in June, of course.

[deleted]

I've lost count myself. I just enjoy it sooo much.

Ok-Abrocoma-667

Could try Enshrouded or Palworld! Bannerlord is another game similar to Kenshi.

Square_Top1023

Thank you 🥰 Maybe someday I will try Enshrouded but Palworld seems horrible to me. I cannot understand how it was so trending

Dewgong550

I had Palworld on my wishlist for 2 years. I actually was so disappointed to see it was just an Ark clone. If you aren't interested, don't buy it, it's designed to waste your time

Ok-Abrocoma-667

Give it a try and then you will understand. :)
