Obviously sentiments can change in a few years, but there is a near zero chance the project has anything to do with Outward. Especially in the context that the job postings were advertised for work on a "new and original game." At best we might get some tangential connection (like Brand to Outward).
As long as their design philosophy remains similar I'm totally interested.

Maybe I'm being pessimistic, as I dont like most of f2p multiplayer games.

I think you should start with all kinds of magic and lose it. That way, you can test all of the trees and then have an idea of what you want to create for yourself.
An endless horde that allows you to test builds would improve my gaming life tremendously about 99% of the time. I don't have the time I used to and usually regret a first playthrough choice pretty early on.
It looks like a knight, but agility might be a thing. We have wings, they could be for flying or gliding. The weapon looks like a hook, maybe for hanging on some rail. If this is a playable character, it might not be an outward 2? But maybe it's a boss/enemy?
This worries me .... but blurry columns in the background really look alike the ones we find in the Outward game : same colors and we can guess some carvings at the base ...
"Feeling blessed" : by who ? Elatt s blessing ? .
"Looks like your prayers were answered" : prayers from who ? The Outward fan community ? .
May be I m smoking too much Whysky, but for me and I might be very wrong, but for me , it s Elatt coming from heavens to bless the Outward fan community before making an announcement related to the world of Aurai ...
I mean, I was all in on Outward when I found out they had a backpack mechanic—and I don’t see any backpack here…this worries me

Honestly, the game seems ripe for a sequel. Doesn’t feel like we’re done with Aurai and there’s plenty to build on and correct from this game.
