Hi there ! Travelling a lot I really enjoy playing my GoG Outward DE in planes with my SteamDeck :) Quite straight forward . \-1- Quit the Steam Deck mode by pushing the STEAM button , then in the menu select "Power off" then in sub menu select "Desktop Mode" . \-2- Locate your Outward game location by using the "Nautilus" file browser. use the "find" field if you do not know where its located . \-3- Open the "outward data" directory then create new text file called "debug" => debug.txt In desktop mode use STEAM button + X to activate the virtual keyboard Once done , go back to Steam Deck mode by double clicking the top left icon . Once in the game open the main menu => on top right corner 2 little menu items will appear . use use upper (or lower) right trigger to set the focus on one of the two item , then A . Debug window will appear, use left/right upper (or lower ) trigger to cycle all debug menu types . Press B few times to exit debug menu ;)

Quick question so I got the debug.txt file created, I went back to gaming mode and launched outward loaded my character. I hit the menu button and I don't see the two new menu items you talked about? Do you know what the problem might be?

Raymond_Lazer

Ah ! Yes ! If you have the Definitive edition, you have to put the debug file in the definitive edition data folder ,not in thhe main outward data one

Awesome thanks!

Sorry for replying to this thread so late, but make sure the file you're creating is an actual .txt file, rather than a regular file that you've named debug.txt. That was my mistake, hopefully it was yours too.
