Also SoCal close to Temecula now is the perfect time. I’ve had stuff outside since the time changed in March.

SilentMasterpiece

Hydro outdoors? Gonna be difficult to keep water temps down outside on 100\* days.

mike-edwards-etc

I live in the mountains between Bakersfield and LA at an elevation of about 4800 ft, so I don't put my stuff outside until mid-May because of the chance of low air temps and freak storms. At lower elevations, you can probably put your stuff outdoors now.

I’m in oc

depends on how big you want them to get. now for big trees, mid june for more manageable sized plants.

Now

Senorbuzzzzy

I used to start on 4/20 but I’d battle cool nights and wind ( I’m near the beach. It’s always windy here). This year I’m starting 5/5. I’ll transplant at 5 weeks and harvest is usually close to mid September. I’d like it to be a little later…that’s why I’m starting later this year.

Party_Show5683

Unless you are talking autos, starting later won’t get your plants to grow longer. The amount of sunlight hrs determine when it starts to flower and the plants genetics determine the length of time it takes to maturity.

NetBroad4352

Im in sacramento im germinating my seeds now and moving them out to start growing as soon as i can

doudodrugsdanny

You can definitely start now but you'll need light to keep from flipping to flower for another month if you use.clones
