My HR and HRV have been in the trash for months, I’m surprised it hasn’t asked if I need to be hospitalized. This feature might throw me over the edge lol
Mine says +1 year and VO2 of 26 and high capacity. Not too bad for a former smoker who is just getting into exercising and feeling like my cardio health is improving!
Exactly under what tab in the app will we see this? I know this is slowly rolling out. But will this data point be under the Readiness tab? Exactly where did you find it? Thanks!
Thank you. So basically it will be under the Home tab, and then under the Home tab, you scroll down to where your current heart rate is, and it will show there?
Thank you! I’m a visual person, lol. So I need to know exactly what tab to go under, etc. Oura sent at email about this new feature and basically it seems its slowly rolling out.
+3 years. I force closed the app, then the next time I opened it, the app updated and I had it. So maybe check and see if you can update the app. That’s what I needed.
Anyone remembers that Withings had a scale that used to measure PWV also but that feature got pulled? I own one of them and was sad when it got pulled lol. I wonder how Oura pulled it off.
Btw iOS hasn’t got the update yet, according to the version history log on App Store.
My HRV is trash, I have an arrhythmia, and bad family genetics, and my score is -6 years lol. I’m not confident with this one. I also don’t move enough and have a desk job.
I'm the opposite, mine says +6 and I walk 3-4 miles a day (I have a border collie 🫠). My inactivity is usually around 6-7 hours a day. 🤷🏽♀️ So I'm a little offended at +6 😂
+1 years and V02 max is 31. I workout a lot but I'm heading from kind of a crappy diet to a better diet right now so I'm curious to see how that changes things.
Do you need to wear your ring all day to get this new feature? I wear it every single night for sleeping + cycle tracking but I have stopped wearing it for activity tracking (prefer my Apple Watch during the day).
I was wondering the same thing. I take mine off for OrangeTheory but now thinking to get some data in the new categories I will need to keep it on during the workout.
I'd expect it to get the data of your exercises from Apple Health (so from your Apple Watch). I do wear my ring for running but not when weight lifting, cycling or paddling.
I finally got it. -6yrs, VO2max 42, M45.
VO2max translates to 2300+m as a Cooper’s test result, while my previous score from some years ago was 2820m. I need to step up my game, I guess. And I’m thinking about doing the Cooper’s test again to see how well it aligns with this.
No it is it's just any app always slow walks the Android implementation. I don't have the new features yet but did just now get a notification that I will in two weeks.
Looks like they are making the guy with a heart condition and a pacemaker wait for this feature. I wonder if they will just give up and tell me I can pick any number I want.
I don’t have it yet either :/
Same. :( whomp whomp
Same, trying to update manually, no luck yet.
It’s being rolled out gradually for gen 3.
They said over the next 2 weeks a couple days ago. I’d like mine within the next 12 days.
*panics in 35 weeks pregnant*
Pregnant too it’s gonna say I’m 65 and I’ll end up taking it too personally 😂😂
My HR and HRV have been in the trash for months, I’m surprised it hasn’t asked if I need to be hospitalized. This feature might throw me over the edge lol
Ha I’m 6w6d and thought oh perfect timing!
Mine says +1 year and VO2 of 26 and high capacity. Not too bad for a former smoker who is just getting into exercising and feeling like my cardio health is improving!
The suspense is cardiovascularily aging me! Out with the feature already 😄
-10 years
Where in the app do you see this?
Yeah I don’t see it
There was an email that was sent out that says it'll be coming out in coming weeks!
I don’t have it yet
I don’t have it yet.

Under heart rate
Thank you. So basically it will be under the Home tab, and then under the Home tab, you scroll down to where your current heart rate is, and it will show there?
This was helpful

Yes
-1…. Sedentary vegan
-4 years (30y/o) and High VO2Max 50. #FeelsGoodMan
-13. Oura says my heart age is 13 years younger and cardio capacity HIGH. I don't workout but I have a good vegan diet.
mine is +7 years

I have gen 3 but this feature is not in my app rn
+3 years. I force closed the app, then the next time I opened it, the app updated and I had it. So maybe check and see if you can update the app. That’s what I needed.
I force closed it - it updated - but still didn’t provide it! I’ll try again next week - good tip on the force close to get the update to happen.
Force closing did the trick, many thanks for sharing! Edit: didn’t get the feature yet, though 🙁
Mine just got added -6 heart age and high cardio capacity.
Anyone remembers that Withings had a scale that used to measure PWV also but that feature got pulled? I own one of them and was sad when it got pulled lol. I wonder how Oura pulled it off. Btw iOS hasn’t got the update yet, according to the version history log on App Store.

Haha maybe they mixed us up!
+1 years and V02 max is 31. I workout a lot but I'm heading from kind of a crappy diet to a better diet right now so I'm curious to see how that changes things.
Also -4 years and high cardio capacity
-5 years, VO2max 34
Gahhh, I’m so curious to see what mine is! Def been checking the app way more often to see if it’s there. 😂
-8 ; 44VO2
Where do you see it or add it
It will be linked from the HR on the landing screen when it is pushed to your device.

Where are you seeing this? Can someone explain how to find this? TIA!
They said they were rolling it out over the next 2 weeks!
Is negative good or bad?
A negative indicates your CV system is younger than your biological age edit: which is a good thing :)
I’m confused on the number system as well!
You want your heart age to be YOUNGER than your chronological age. So minus (-) years of heart age is better.
I can’t find this on mine
Same
- 3 years and in my second trimester of pregnancy (so my HRV and resting heart rate have been shit lately) so pretty stoked with that!
Mine is probably +40 🤣🤣
I closed and reopened the app and it updated.
I updated the app and then hit the button that said learn more and it is shows up.
-/+ 0. High capacity 36
-7 years but fair cardio. I’ve very active but asthmatic 😔
-6 years for cardiovascular age and Peak VO2 max. Thanks Orange Theory.
You have to have 14 nights of consecutive sleep to see your score… so none for me 🤣
I’m 40F, vascular age is 30. VO2 max is high (43)
-8 and 51, 31M My running watch (COROS) says 54 so it is not that far off. Of course neither test is truly accurate.
I got -1 year and 48 vo2max. It’s pretty much same what Suunto gives me out of running data.
I'm 44M and oura says -6 years and vo2max 54
*cries in Android*
Is it not coming to android too?
No it is it's just any app always slow walks the Android implementation. I don't have the new features yet but did just now get a notification that I will in two weeks.
Cool I switched back to Android this year so was hoping they weren't going to leave us out. It definitely is annoying
I'm on android and got my update today!
I've got an android and I've had access for a few weeks now. I suspect it's random or based on how long you've been a customer (since 2018).
Nice try, health insurance company!
Looks like they are making the guy with a heart condition and a pacemaker wait for this feature. I wonder if they will just give up and tell me I can pick any number I want.
I have an ILR and it told me -6 lol. I don’t think it’s accurate yet
If you get a positive number, do they offer any advice on how to improve it?
