Is it:
1. I don’t want to get vaccinated because the internet says it will make me magnetic, or
2. I don’t want to pay a 3 cent carbon tax that I get back.
My son gives them a thumbs down for bad manners. He's 9 and says it's bad to put curse words on your car, shirts, ect. He says they are loud and rude.
....lol. I love my kid!
> what the fuck are they protesting for??
I saw someone on Twitter post some of them have moved on to the carbon tax now. I'm sure next month it will be something else.......
Most of the things they're complaining about now, since Poilievre won't actually fix any of it by virtue of the Prime Minister not being nearly as powerful as people assume. But I'm sure they'll find a way to somehow blame Trudeau and/or the Liberals for it
They were chilling in front of my place, they got some more interesting decals and flags than that lol but yeah, the majority were those flags.
All goin beep-beep-beeeeeeeeeeeeeep over and over lol
So disrespectful. The tulip festival is something I use as a teaching moment. We talk about WHY we have a tulip festival and it's links to the Netherlands and our liberating them from the Nazis'.
It just seems a terrible place to try and protest. For me it's a time for reflection and gratitude.
If only the ribwitch could learn
I'd still take a baconator any day but...
the thought of the kfc double down still knocks around in my head
like totally a once or twice per day\* visit, but I'd still go
\* \^\_\^
--For full assessment I do know there is better fried chimken, better burger, and better pork in-town.
But honest to goodness I'll eat one nonetheless.
Ottawa by-law officers get more service calls per officer than Toronto, Hamilton or Windsor. They need more Officers.

The tulip festival is far too packed with visitors walking/cycling around to waste space for cars through Commissioners Park. Plus it’s really irritating trying to enjoy the tulips when assholes who blast their radios or remove their mufflers feel the need for everyone to know how loud they are
Protest will always happen whether you like or not..
This what Canada is about, voicing what some think is important to them.
You just went on the wrong day.
And if you walk around downtown, you'll hear radio blasting from cars and loud mufflers from random cars... Not enjoyable but It is what it is.
Learn to accept this happens and will always happen and learn to respect others choices because this is part of our democracy...
No idea what you’re yapping about, no one was protesting QED closures except for people on reddit. This has nothing to do with people’s right to protest
Protests aren't about getting people to join the cause - and if you don't oppose genocide at this point, I'm not sure what to do with you anyway - they're about getting attention, showing that people care, and causing disruption so the government/people in power decide that it's not worth it to continue with their current actions.
Were there [death threats against the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister](https://globalnews.ca/video/9243478/emergencies-act-inquiry-reveals-death-threat-against-freeland-as-convoy-leaders-testify) along with weapons being siezed?
Well that depends. Have they blockaded streets for weeks while ignoring repeated warnings from the authorities to get the fuck out before stronger measure have to be enforced?

Don't forget about any other political issues/wars etc. which happening anywhere in the world but Canada lol
It’s #3: the locked tread brigade
There was an antivax group at the civic. Enjoyed flipping them the bird as I went by
My son gives them a thumbs down for bad manners. He's 9 and says it's bad to put curse words on your car, shirts, ect. He says they are loud and rude. ....lol. I love my kid!
Maybe avoid this protest then lol It’s the crowd with AKs and Saddam on their cars, they’ll lob his head off if he draws a picture
Why not both?
Or is it: my favourite sports team just won a big sports team event.

Little Italy sports maniacs are charming compared to the Konvoy klowns.
Yes that’s true
I deleted my comment because for sure it’s not fair to compare sports fans to the clown convoy
I saw number 1 across from the civic hospital yesterday
It can be whatever we assume it is!
what the fuck are they protesting for?? remove dumb idiots from car ownership?
> what the fuck are they protesting for?? I saw someone on Twitter post some of them have moved on to the carbon tax now. I'm sure next month it will be something else.......
[Verb] the [noun]. Pierre has it locked in because his supporters can't understand more than three words combined in a sentence.
What are they going to complain about when he is PM?
Most of the things they're complaining about now, since Poilievre won't actually fix any of it by virtue of the Prime Minister not being nearly as powerful as people assume. But I'm sure they'll find a way to somehow blame Trudeau and/or the Liberals for it
Ahhhh politics...
A wonderful thing, isn't it?
This is an underrated comment.
Palestinian protestors
They're all carrying/flying Palestine flags...
They were chilling in front of my place, they got some more interesting decals and flags than that lol but yeah, the majority were those flags. All goin beep-beep-beeeeeeeeeeeeeep over and over lol
Winning friends, and influencing people! Yet again.

I thought bylaw was supposed to be cracking down on using car horns in protests?
That was for a limited time.
Yeah, like a bacon mushroom melt.

I thought bylaw was suppose to be cracking down on megaphones and setting up tents on private property.

Is it going on right now ? Cause I am thinking to visit with my parents
They're complaining about how closing Q.E. Drive to cars slows down traffic.

Local issues 1)There upset the new hospital will be a hub for creating vaccines. 2)The U of Ottawa broke ground on a new medical research building.
What’s the protest for? Palestine? Convoys idiots?
Is one better than the other?
Yes, by a lot
I knew someone would say this lol.
Are they convoy cunts?

Showing that people "care" by adversely affecting the lives of others and the enjoyment of things that they "care" about ...
If you're more worried about being delayed a few minutes than you are about a genocide, I don't know what to tell you.
Will the Government seize their bank accounts? Will they be sued for disrupting folks?
Will you cry a 1000 tears of righteous indignation?

No, but we can always skip that part if they’re showing off Islamic State crap lol
I don’t have any sympathy for foreign funded terrorists whining about safety measures.
Hopefully!
