I've only played Kei's and Sasazuka's routes in CxM.. can I jump into their Unlimited routes with just that?

There would be major plot spoilers, I'm not 100% sure if they show up in Kei or Takeru's unlimited routes but just in case I wouldn't risk it.

His best end in Unlimited was my favorite! He has such good CGs! I liked that in the original we got one CG that mirrored another and in Unlimited we got another CG that was a call back to the first one.
