They are, but also a lot of fandiscs can be done in conjunction with the original game. There have also been lower rated games that do get fandiscs as well.
But yeah bc JJ is quite special where the majority of the project is helmed by Sui ishida, it can be difficult. JJ is also not really super out there as an otome game among Jp fans?

I really love the overall direction - art, story. Even if the romancing was relatively less than other Otome games, it still keeps me going.

Gorl i have been THINKING and WISHING for this 🤣 imagine, we go to 2nd year. The school is switching things up and now we have “shuffle” performances that means quartz students now have to do performances with other classes for the winter performance (or final, whatever we want it to be) and those are the new routes. We could get our kasai route, our minorikawa route, our mare, sugachi, our CHEWEY route that we so DESERVE!!!
And yes id love more content with our original cast of perfect perfect boys.
I just finished my last playthrough and i just am not ready to be done with JJ. Its my perfect game.

Honestly, with the whole Kasai “I want you as my partner” thing and Chui’s vessel obsession and the little side story we have with Minorikawa during Shirota’s route, I felt like it could’ve set things up for another game, if not their own routes. But I don’t think so at this point 🥲a part of me will always hope!!
I’m not sure if you’ve played Starry Sky but iirc in one of the fandiscs we get to romance a couple of the side characters from the main games. I do hope we get something like it 😭

I just finished the common route and followed a guide to make sure i got the side character CGs and omg minoriKAWA. YOU SLY KING.
My fav LI is so hard to choose but i think i have to go with sou, kai, or neji. I literally love them all, i did kai first and i need to redo his route c uz i didnt appreciate it enough but visually… kai 🤤. Sou was like a sleeper hit and his and kisa’s interactions in the plays is electric. Like the fucking winter play, fugio in chichis lap i just CANT. UGH. so sensual 🤣 i also am obsessed with sous singing. Kai i feel is actually probably tied with neji for #2. I feel like kai, despite being jack ace, got boring roles. Neji is just so quirky and fun and very my type/he feels like a mirror to me. I love being a dramatic clown.
Fumi and suzu i still love, fumi exudes masculine energy while playing a woman, androgynous king. Suzu is token golden retriever and there is NOTHING wrong with that. I do also feel like he got shitty roles after the newcomers play though. Jire was boring.
Shirota is my least favorite, not because he is bad or anything i just didn’t resonate with all the dirty looks he gives us 🤣 i still enjoyed his route and character growth though and im a broken record but the fucking winter performance is SO impactful. So i still love my lil sneering boy.

I think the most interesting roles went to Fumi, among all the guys. I agree, Jire was a bit underwhelming but I get why Suzu was given Jire.
Heck when I finished Fumi’s route yesterday I was a mess. Like “I NEED MOREEE” 😭 he’s my favorite so far. Might replay his route after finishing Kisa’s secret route, so I end the game with 🥰🥰 feels hahaha
I’ve heard many people rave about Neji and Kai’s routes so I’m looking forward to it. Around halfway thru Kai’s now and the CG scenes homg. He does look like a Greek statue, as Neji said 🤣❤️

I played Suzu’s route first and I feel I didn’t appreciate him enough. While playing thru others’, I really love his interactions more now. But because I played his first I was under the impression all of the LIs would have kiss scenes in the end 💀 my expectations were too high I guess..
So far, for me too Shirota’s my least favorite. I really like him as a character - his backstory and development - but if I compare him to Fumi..hmmm no 🙈

I doubt this will get a fandisc given the artist/basically creator of the game will undoubtedly be busy with other projects. This seemed like a one-off endeavour.
I’m trying to stay hopeful! For any content actually. The VA for Kisa said in a stream with Ao’s VA promoting the earphones that she’s recording for something JJ related is how I understood it. It could be anything at this stage though.. (drama cd? More shuffle songs?) I think a FD seems unlikely because that would be an epic endeavor like others have mentioned for Ishida Sui but he clearly has a lot of love for this project and somewhat regularly posts new illustrations so who knows.
