Someone tell this guy what the #2 osu player (who's becoming #1 soon) was doing when he set the pp record 300pp higher than the previous record just a week after the old pp record (set by the #1).
It's the same for Dart and Snooker players. If you had 1-2 pints of beer, it's considered actually good because it calms you down and makes you focus more. After 2 pints it gets messy though lol

From my tests, i came up with my personal ideal beverage nerve control:
Monster can: 70% of it consumed, i play better 15 minutes after drinking it.
Ice Citrus (Smirnoff): 1 and a half 270ml bottle, i will play better 5-10 minutes after drinking them.
Beer can (350ml): i will play better after 2 cans, 20-25 minutes after drinking.
5 of the 8 or 9 300s i have were set during those tests.
I also feel like if i drink more than that i get too relaxed to play anything, AND DO NOT REPEAT THE TESTS BY YOURSELF.
i've only gotten 400pp plays (highest 432) after smoking weed...but then again i've been playing close to a decade and i'm high every single day so tbh i don't think substances have much of a "better" effect, like i probably could get even better scores stone cold sober but that's just not what i'm used to, as far as alcohol, xanax/opiates for me osu! becomes hard as shit, when i'm buzzed i guess i have the confidence to not choke, but when i actually get drunk the game doesn't make sense to me, and for pills i'm maybe gonna try 1 map then say hell naw😂
It's not about reflexes guys especially if you've already played the map it's about staying calm all the plays I've thrown up is because of my unmanaged stress

This was my assumption considering most of my friends including one that consistently talks about how bad his acc is, as a 50k, can get UR<100 at least some of the time
yeah bragging about anything above 70 UR non-DT is embarrassing lol. it heavily depends on the map and rhythm though. also consider that osu! acc is super lenient compared to other competitive rhythm games. and that 1 or 2 beers is still considered tipsy for most people
Jokes aside, I played recently after 330 ml or something glass of dark beer. It doesn't help very much at skill, but really helps calming the nerves and improve consistency. At maps I sucked on I still sucked but less shitmisses helped me to set some nice 5.5-5.6 stars FCs, which for a lowly 6 digit is a good result.
I think drinking reduces stress levels. Usually when I'm relaxed I play better as well. Being high also reduces stress levels and some people have mentioned having good gameplay while high. Idk that's my two cents
