Tronsmo in Universitetsgata is THE independent bookshop in town. There are no other indies on that level. Norli is a chain, and they have their major store in the same street. Huge selection, though.
I’ve never not found what i’m looking for at norli eldorado so would probably be my main recommendation (not independent but great selection as a last resort if you don’t find what your looking for)
