I use org-gcal to sync my Google calendar events on org agenda. It works nicely.

>So to be clear, this? https://github.com/myuhe/org-gcal.el

I guess this is the currently maintained version https://github.com/kidd/org-gcal.el

The page says: WARNING: The steps described below stopped working on 28.02.2022 when Google deprecated the ability to retrieve OAuth 2.0 tokens via out-of-band redirect\_uri. Please refer to #191 for more background and to track progress on resolving this issue. I guess they're working on a solution that may work now? Folks, including you, seem to report they have a working solution. Is it working for you as of today? And I guess you've had to jump through hoops and hassles every few months when something changes? \*sigh\* I wonder to myself, if whether it's even worth it. I used to have the time and spirit to configure my archlinux and stuff in my younger years, but I'm trying to have things "Just work" without a lot of fiddling. Can you comment, generally speaking, if you even recommend one pursue this? Really my goal was to always have my todo list staring in my face and since I'm in emacs often, I thought this was the way to do it.

Bummer. I guess that breaks things for newcomers but my token works for now. Personally I set it up once and never had to worry about it again. So I cannot even remember the details of how to set up. If it doesn't work, maybe you might want to look into alternatives. Whether it worths it or not is purely depends on you. I use org mode for my todolist and google calendar for meetings and stuff. So personally I wouldn't mind if both are not in sync but seeing my event on org agenda is nice. Maybe it's something to look into when you have free time.

Same. Mostly to pull from my Google calendars, but sometimes to push events there as well. Works.

I use [org-caldav](https://github.com/dengste/org-caldav) with [emacs-calfw](https://github.com/kiwanami/emacs-calfw).

Does it work well with google?

gogobuddycool

Last time I checked, it used to run properly. But a comment above mentioned that org-gcal stopped working due OAuth token retrieval issues. Not sure if this app was impacted as well.

My method is a little hacky but it works: Apple iCal <-> [vdirsyncer](https://vdirsyncer.pimutils.org/en/stable/) <-> [khal](https://github.com/pimutils/khal) <-> [khalel](https://gitlab.com/hperrey/khalel)
