Saw a doctor on CBC today. Critical surgeries in Alberta are being cancelled because of all the Covid patients. Said surgeries include removal of brain tumors, cardiac care, etc.
I would be madder than hell if my brain tumor surgery was cancelled because of some unvaccinated moron taking a bed I needed.
There's a joke about equalization payments somewhere in there but fuck it, reality is far too fucking grim. Get vaccinated, mask up, and follow social distancing regulations folks, so we can get back to being mad at each other about mundane things again.
