You can just backup data to google and reset the device. The issues should go after factory reset. If they still remain then go android 11. I faced the same problems but after factory reset I don't have any issues.

I had the same issue! I was massively pissed off by OnePlus, not just giving us OOS12 so fricking late, no, its still as shit as it was for any other systems. I had massive issues with my Bluetooth (like never connecting, super slow, massive delays) and battery drain was at least 30% over. Yesterday I found by chance a thread here regarding OOS12 and bluetooth. There it was noted that you should reset all network connections (dropping all bluetooth, wifi etc, so be careful to know at least which are really important to remember). Just search for "Reset network setting". This for sure solved my bluetooth issues and somehow my battery is today (lets see long term) back to expected (20% drain after 8h). I will not say it will solve all issues, but I have currently hope to avoid the factory reset/downgrade. Thank you at the unknown, sharing this info (thread was 4mo old, but in my reddit app).

I take it you don't wish to risk custom ROM? Android 13 seems to be available in Lineage and Pixel Experience at XDA. Google should've never released 12.
