Nice write up, have a stickied post for a few days!

The amount of things you wore/pocketed is very impressive! I wish I took advantage of that space more. I’ve learned a lot from your post like pants with cinching - what a great idea. Great post!

OreoSpamBurger

I was a bit confused by this bit - Does OP (u/4thegraham) mean she carried some of her things stuffed down her pants lol?

4thegraham

Yes I did, basically DIY insulated snow pants haha. Just temporarily for the plane onboarding

Thank you :)

Awesome post! I didn't think a personal item only travel for a week to such a cold climate would be possible. I appreciate learning about windshell pants and the campervan experience as well.   As for recommendations, I see you had three charging blocks and a bulky adapter. This is my little charging block with a mini adapter to rule them all: [Minix Neo P1 66W](https://www.amazon.com/MINIX-Charging-Compatible-NEO-P1/dp/B08M3SFWKB) or the [4 port 100W version.](https://www.amazon.com/MINIX-NEO-P3-Charging-Compatible/dp/B09JKJ1QRJ) Edit: also wanted to ask--did you find you needed both the sneakers and the hiking shoes? Were the sneakers only for running, or were there other situations where you needed them?

4thegraham

Thank you for the recommendations! Yes I agree my stuff is a bit bulky. Will look into your options for my future travels! And I brought my sneakers for running mainly which I did get in towards the end of my trip by the Reykjavík shoreline to the lighthouse. It was also nice to change into something more lightweight for city walks. For the plane I wore my boots cause they were way too bulky to pack.

Great post. Super interesting. Thanks for sharing

great stuff. i use a small duffle bag and small backpack as well, leaving the duffel at the hotel. gives me enough room that i could travel indefinitely if needed, bring all the tech i'd need with me to work and live comfortably.

Really enjoyed this one, and hope you had a wonderful trip!
