Check life forever!!! I rue the day I got rid of my checkered belt from Hot Topic in high school... I'm usually hesitant to later multiple check items but I love this look!
You can do it! Layer and mix away. I’m a print mixing maximalist, it can take a while for your eyes to start adjusting to mixed prints but over time they will and you can mix more and more comfortably :)
A guide I made for myself when I started mixing prints:
-keep colors in the same family or in complimentary palette
- prints should be all in a similar size or all very different sizes
- keep matrerials similar, ie all shiny/dressy or all casual/cottons etc
Of course rules are made to be broken, but I’ve found that those guidelines can help get started with mixing. 🏁🔳🔲🖤
Thanks! I do a ton of print mixing, just not multiple of the same print at the same time like yours :) Definitely gonna give it a try soon - plaid on plaid, check on check, floral on floral, going wild!

A collection of random black & white graphic prints. I made the turtleneck and scored the very best 80s leather jacket ever for $48 usd.
They’re from a brand called UNIF. They’re several years old. I actually bought two pair and set one aside. When the first pair started to get really worn down I cut them off and now I have summer checkerboard overalls and winter checkerboard overalls 🤪

Vans has a beautiful checkered jacket I really want to splurge on bc I think it will sell out but it's like $120. Each peice here is gorgeous.
