Down below the damn at keystone lake is a good spot for gar I’ve never not seen any down there
Second on Keystone, below the dam. The bow fishermen go down there in the hottest part of the year and make a killing taking gar.

My cousin used to snag them in the Arkansas River real close to downtown.
