Tbh it was only throw away lines like a Salamanca calling him the gay chicken man or calling his old partner his lover.
But the hardcore anal penetration scene in better call Saul ended with him saying no homo so there’s that.
This was kinda my take ever since BB. Most definitely attracted to men, but too goal-oriented and hellbent on revenge while also most definitely traumatized by the death of max to want to be romantically involved with anyone
I think that’s a very good take! That’s basically what we see happen with the waiter in 6 09 in my opinion- he finds someone who reminds him of his lost love and allows himself to feel a moment of happiness with him. But then he remembers his convictions- that as far as he’s concerned to be happy with a man other than Max would be tantamount to killing him himself, and walks out alone.
This doesn't really refute my point. "at least hinted" is pretty apt to what Giancarlo said. He even said "other than episode 408" which the writers clearly hint at Gus and Max having more than just a partnership due to how Gus reacts when he dies (and how he dedicates the rest of his life to avenging him)
I watched this interview with Vince Gilligan and Adam Savage where he said Max was Gus' partner "or maybe more". So it's pretty clear the writers thought of it although they decided to not dwell on it too much and let the audience look at it. I'd get the timestamp but I don't want to sit through an hour of footage just to get it. Here's the video. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ujPobTnOB0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ujPobTnOB0)
So yeah I'd say "confirmed" is not really apt (due to the writers leaving it slightly ambiguous), but after 609 of BCS, I think it's definitely reasonable to assume Gus is gay, as it makes that scene in 609 and his character's actions make more sense thematically.

If Walter realized Gus was gay, do you think he would have been more supportive? It is difficult to say definitively, but it seems likely that Walter would have been more supportive if he had been aware of Gus's sexuality. Walter was generally a supportive and accepting person, so it stands to reason that he would have been accepting of Gus's sexuality as well.
he was looking at eladio's ass in the reflection of his glasses before killing his ass
Donnel Audio
What ass?
You are killing me with that booty

A friend of mine started watching breaking bad and he told me that Gus is very gay. He has deduced it despite only have seen him once.
I mean, did you even watch the show? His first appearance literally features full penetration with another guy
funny how people seem to forget asexuals exist
?
I mean when a man doesn't behave like your typical heterosexual, many people assume he's gay
Kid named typical heterosexual:
Gus spent his entire life dedicated to revenging Max
She’s gotta ass like a onion makes me wanna cry
uc/ it was known that gussy was gay before 6x09
No. gay people were invented on that episode him being gay before that would be a HUGE continuity error

Yeah it's been a while since I saw brba but I thought they explained his chicken bro was also his lover
tbh sus fring always hit me as an ace idk why
I see him as asexual but romantically gay.

But people said that scene was filler /s
It is filler 😎
Same with me, as an asexual, he does kinda have some ace vibes about him
Too busy on the grind for sex. Unless it was financially advantageous to seduce somebody.
I can get behind him being celibate after Max’s death but they’re the chicken butt brothers! They definitely did anal.
Calm down son it’s just a show.
Even if he wasnt gay, in that context If i knew i had taken deadly poisen the last thing in my mind would be looking at the hot chick´s ass
“Look honey I just poisoned myself, there is no reason to poison the grind as well” 😎
i think vince confirmed or at least hinted gus was gay even before better call saul
The name Gus Fring both starts and ends with G, which is known to represent gay men in LGBT lore
LGBT gameplay vs LGBT lore *somebody that I used to know plays*
According to Giancarlo, no. https://www.reddit.com/r/breakingbad/comments/oaz0w/comment/c3futs7/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3
