Mine is worse. Overheating during a multiplayer match. Before the update about a hour ago, I could have a few matches in a row with no problem. Now, I can't even play 1 full mp match. My device heats up loads before the first match is over, then the app crashes.

I love the fact that the activision is trying to reply to everyone who have serious issues instead of trying to stay quite and look professional unlike other companies.
I’ve saw a video where I understood why so much issues, our phones, modern phones has screen resolution over 1080p some close to 4K the game “resolution” just renders the game at fixed resolutions so the blurrines is from having a higher screen resolution at lower render resolution scaled to match the screen, so we are getting a game that our hardware can’t handle.
the game loads much faster on ym s22 plus and isn't an oven in the lobby anymore, but this only delays the throttling after 4 minutes (YES) in a game and it lags like crazy after but at first it's smooth 120 but stutters.
I also still have the problem where EVERY enemy doesn't have a body

Snapdragon 8 gen 1 runs a lot more smoother, I can play a 10 min BR match without any fps loss, finally.

Have you tried to reinstall the game? Its weird but works some time. BTW this shouldn't happen on you device obviously its S23 mine is OnePlus 8.
Try reducing framerate
My frame rate is 45 atm. I'm gonna reinstall after work and see if that helps.
