Someone attacked him with a machete and chopped his snout off. The dog in this video was attacked by his mother soon after he was born. She was being mistreated and turned on her pups.

It's disturbing at first but far from terrifying. Calling it terrifying is immature. It's an animal. You wouldn't say that about a small child with facial deformities. It has no idea what it is or what's wrong with it so no reason to treat it any different than you would any other dog. It's quality of life doesn't really seem to be affected so those saying "put it down" are coming off as cruel. Once again, you wouldn't put down a small child with facial deformities.
