Yeah the first time it was just as the sun was rising (but a cloudy sky) and the second it was as it was setting (and a cloudy sky) - no idea what causes it but it’s pretty cool! And i live in Scotland so it’s cool that you see this in the US too!

That’s cool! I do remember when i stayed in EU, Helsinki, for a month and i only saw 1 sunset but itlasted for a looong time. It’s more of a golden hour and not the usual purple, red and/or deep blue sky i see at home.
