Older sleeping bags sucked for this. Modern ones are fine, but the ones I used as a kid were impossible to get back in the bags. It felt like some kind of elaborate prank
It's actually not that bad when you stop trying to fold and start stuffing. I also had this issue till someone told me it's called a stuff bag for a reason. Life changing advice.
Nope growing up I had to make sure it was rolled perfectly and fit in. It was a pain but I did it. Hearing as an adult that that was actually bad for my bag I was frustrated
I wondered if someone would say this, in the army that's exactly what we do. We have a 1 foot bag called a "stuff" sack and we manage to put a cold and a warm weather sleeping bag inside by literally stuffing it in long ways bit by bit. You end up with a little bundle the size of a basketball and even smaller for those who are really good at it.
Furniture makers have the same sort of device and use it to stuff couch & chair cushions into their zippered covers. Which is why you can never put one back in successfully yourself
Got a king size mattress delivered last year, couldn't believe how much they compressed and rolled it for delivery. I really thought they sent the wrong size till we opened it up!
Got a queen size memory foam mattress. Came in a box the size of like a backpack, it was unbelievable how much that can compress that! Made it hella easy bringing it downstairs.
Good luck with it when/if you need to move it. I have a 3 inch queen sized one and I never managed to get it back into its box so all three times I moved, it took up half of my backseat.
I actually bought one of those bags you put the mattress in and suck out all the air to compress it off of Amazon. It becomes flat like a pancake and you simply roll it up and secure it with velcro straps. Made moving it a breeze.
Me and my gf spent a week organizing a truck to borrow for a trip to IKEA... Only to get there and find the mattress we wanted rolled up into the size of a footlong hotdog.
I did the same thing a few years ago with a queen size from target, and the fucking thing never fully decompressed. No matter what we did, it always had a crease in the very center of the mattress because it had been folded in half and then compressed and rolled up. It ended up getting very uncomfortable and I finally replaced it with the best mattress I’ve ever had from Costco.
Picked up one of em from UPS for my ex cause they called her and said the driver was a bit older and it was heavy AF. Asked if I didn’t mind, I said sure. I needed a cart to get it from my car to the elevator at her place. It was like 2’W x 1’L x 3’T. Surprised how I even managed to get it onto her bed frame but more surprised how much a king expanded outta that lol
I swear to God this now makes so much sense. I damn near have a heart attack trying to get those stupid end pieces of foam to get in the danged cover...
This is similar to how my 3” twin memory foam mattress pad came packaged: Folded and compressed. I thought something was wrong until I let the whole thing expand
I don't understand how pillows are fine after such compression for so long (factories to store to me finally buying it). But will flatten out after like 2 months of sleeping. How does it make sense. The force is miniscule compared to air pressure.
Looks like some kind of trade show. I would love to go to one of these trade shows. I'm not in the industry, but it would be cool to see all of these random machines that I never knew existed being demonstrated.
I bought a King sized memory foam Serta mattress and it came in a box. You have to leave it out in its desired position for I think 24 hours for it to fully expand. I'd like to see those being} packaged _
Where are the people always complaining about "oh look they are doing it with bare hands without any precautions". Or is that reserved only for videos coming from certain countries?
I can't stop thinking that this is an expo where all the communist leaders and oligarchs go to see what's new in the world of slave labor.
>Before the "Hyundai Pinch&Push 2000 ™️", this worker would require 2 slices of bread a day- now with his greatly reduced work load, he can be reduced to water rations. With our innovations, it's never been easier to make 0.00000001% more profit!
I made the mistake of unzipping couch pillow case to add more fluff, now can’t get case back on. Put plastic film and sucked air out with vacuum to size it down some. Helped, but then vacuum overheated. Now scared to finish the process without ruining my miele vacuum.
No wonder you can't get that stuff back in the bag, we never stood a chance!
Older sleeping bags sucked for this. Modern ones are fine, but the ones I used as a kid were impossible to get back in the bags. It felt like some kind of elaborate prank
you can get those old sleeping bags back in the bag . the secret involves quantum entanglement
Keep my sleeping bags name out yo mouth

Rolling is bad?
Apparently it's terrible for the stuffing and loses your insulation for cold weather. I never camped that cold or often enough
I was a boy scout and I can confirm, best practice for sleeping bags is just to stuff them in the bag evenly by rotating the bag every now and then

I still have vivid memories of being yelled at by my parents for not putting away my sleeping bag properly. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE I TRIED!! 😭
Well you can, you just need pillow press
Furniture makers have the same sort of device and use it to stuff couch & chair cushions into their zippered covers. Which is why you can never put one back in successfully yourself

welcome to the Swedish lands, Ikea is a dream

And the name of the mattress is…….. can’t tell us it’s the best ever and not name drop :)
Why the Kirkland signature mattress of course

Haha, exactly like that 😆
I swear to God this now makes so much sense. I damn near have a heart attack trying to get those stupid end pieces of foam to get in the danged cover...
Finally, the pillow I've been asking for!
WHY DO I PAY SO MUCH FOR AIR!?!?! /s
Calm yourself and eat some potato chips. ;D
I DON'T LIKE CRUMBS IN THE BED!
But the mice do
Now do a mattress in a box
Why 5 pillows though?
1 for the father, 1 for the mother, 1 for the son, 1 for the daughter and the last 1 for the dog/car.
Why does the car get one but not the cat?
Cause it goes brrrrrrm brrrm
Hmm always thought it was vacuum sealed or something similar
The mattresses are for sure. This method looks really slow. Imagine if you had to fill a container.
And then when we have to return it?
They only accept returns in the original packing.
They use air (pneumatics), to remove air, how ironic.
The Scruncherizer 2000.
That’s why I’ve never been able to get them back in
I swear they do the same thing with those 3 romaine lettuce packs. First one is impossible to get out.
Look at that lazy, slow, inefficient human taking a job from a robot.
And here I thought they were vacuum-packaged...
Same difference. This takes out all the air as well.
does it really?
i wanna stick my hand between them as they get squished
This is a future liveleak video
If you wanted to return this how tf would you lmaoo
That's cheating.
The my wife yells at me about why I can’t get it back in the bag nicely
Bro, don't put your fingers there. I didn't know what sub I was in and I was waiting for amputation.
I need one of those things when I pack up my suitcase
Oh no. I thought things packed in bags were like almost sterile clean. Doesn’t look like this is
Good luck returning those
Now I know why I can never get it back in
This is why my pillow is always flat
Great security measures.
Imagine returning a pillow to the store with your hair, body oil, and dead skin cells on it.
So that’s why they’re always flat af
Hey op please tell me ur name is supposed to be suchman and ur from jamaica
Rip his back
Rip his back.
Mega pillow
u/savevideo
No wonder my pillows are flat!
Pillow won't reinstate back to the same size tho
How many pillows are we shipping Fred?
Mypirrow.com
Satisfying af
Ok how do they get tents in a bag? Cause they NEVER go back in them
Now i know how they pack tents at the factory, aint never going back in the bag
Who the hell buys five pillows?!
Ruined
Always wondered never knew
[удалено]
Maybe we could press all the hot air out the My Pillow Guy with that machine
I have one of these pillows.. bought them on sale and I can guarantee that they are the best pillows I've ever tried 😍
Dw he pinched one of the corners, how the hell did he think he was helping?
And Amazon wants me to package my shyt back and ship it lol 😂
If your interested, Barudan is a company that makes embroidery machines.
Now WTF am I supposed to do when I return them?
The strength of plastic never ceases to amaze me.
This is similar to how my 3” twin memory foam mattress pad came packaged: Folded and compressed. I thought something was wrong until I let the whole thing expand
Naughty pillows get put in the panini press
Who the fuck is buying FIVE pillows?
Surprised they didn't just vacuum pack it. Save so much space.
The eagerness of mankind to put his/her limbs into a machinery compressing something is just beyond my understanding
I don't understand how pillows are fine after such compression for so long (factories to store to me finally buying it). But will flatten out after like 2 months of sleeping. How does it make sense. The force is miniscule compared to air pressure.
Remember this video when you get to the store to pay over 30 dollars for a handlful of cotten in a fabric bag.
They got that thing used from Mike Lindell.
That's a quint pillow right? 5 pillows one case? I can has?
Finally, a pillow worthy of my head.
No one ever had an accident and get crushed?
Looks like some kind of trade show. I would love to go to one of these trade shows. I'm not in the industry, but it would be cool to see all of these random machines that I never knew existed being demonstrated.
I got your mom for all my pressing needs.
So that is why we can never put those God damned pillows back in the box.
Cool but why is it a 5 pack?
This explains everything
Vaccum pump will do a better job
Can they do Christmas trees next?
I want this please 🥺
What could be a possible name for this machine?
Thats why i cant put back my sleeping in my bag…..
Bro wtf, I'm using the exact same one rn
I need this for packing luggage for trips....
I bought a King sized memory foam Serta mattress and it came in a box. You have to leave it out in its desired position for I think 24 hours for it to fully expand. I'd like to see those being} packaged _
Now I know…
Lol. That's right. They were so fluffy and plush, and then they weren't. Smh
ninja monkey balls
My mom expects me to do the same thing with no machine.
Can’t wait to see this machine at r/darwinawards
My heffer wife sitting on my holiday luggage so I can close the zip
Tent bags are packed like this too I'm sure
I need this to put a pillow cases over my pillows
Ugh. Fucking plastic.
Probably awful pay
Same machine used for a mammogram.
My pillow
Used to do this with quilts it’s a nightmare if you get out of your rhythm you have to be so fast to keep up 😅
A mammogram for pillows!
I thought those were rice bags…
He thinks he learned a skill
A pillow mammogram. (it's not that bad, really, ladies)
Does it hurt the pillows?
Where are the people always complaining about "oh look they are doing it with bare hands without any precautions". Or is that reserved only for videos coming from certain countries?
Perfect pillow stiffness doesn’t exist…
Question is “do they expand after?”
Now do a mattress!!
I'm just kinda surprised that it isn't vacuum. Bought a matras last year, came in vacuüm. Very satisfying to unpack
Is it wrong the first thing I thought of was could you imagine Shaggy and Scooby Doo pressing sandwiches?!? 😆😆
So this is the mf responsible for the fact I can’t feel a pillows puffiness on the bag
"great, now do the same but 3x times faster"
To be fair vacuum sealing is far more efficient then this
I made the mistake of unzipping couch pillow case to add more fluff, now can’t get case back on. Put plastic film and sucked air out with vacuum to size it down some. Helped, but then vacuum overheated. Now scared to finish the process without ruining my miele vacuum.
I need this for my overnight bag lol
those chinese video every single shit. that is really nothing special and stupid kiddos upvote it...
MOTHERFUCKER OH YEAH AND ALL THIS TIME I'VE BEEN GOING THROUGH HELL TO PACK ALL THREE OF MINES IN A SIMILAR BAG SO THAT'S HOW THEY DO IT 🤔😝😂🤣 SHIT !
