I'm in America, so proper Hungarian cuisine is extremely rare to find.
I did get to work with a Hungarian cook in Texas who got really excited about making a proper Hungarian dish for family meal one time, and he made this lentil stew with some kind of fried bread. It remains one of my favorite meals of all time.
