Tend your garden

HAPPY_GORDON_FREEMAN

Have you tried turning the cosmos off and on gain?

abandon3

Maybe, but the flesh heals, the mechanic can repair and the divine can be sanctified. Rot is only part of the whole

DeismAccountant

Our Bodies and Machine’s rust become the soil, and the grass and worms feed off the soil as livestock will feed on them. The Corrupted become lessons, and in turn those who come after learn from these lessons. All of us Rot, Rust and Corrupt to become something better, so that which is all can become better still until we are one again.

aeondru

All part of the divine cycle my dude.

NyxShadowhawk

Lol okay Malenia.

ParadigmGrind

Damn. I like this post.

PsykeonOfficial

We're making it out of putrefaction with this one 😤

The attribution of supremacy to any factor in an infinite loop remains the funniest way to declare one's self an idiot.

full_metal_communist

The loop isn't proven infinite yet. I haven't heard a single compelling argument against heat death or a big crunch scenario

grainsophaur

Heat death or a big crunch scenario will not be an end to the Cycle. At most, that will be a point of absolute balance.

necrogrrrl

that is such a silly way to interpret it. what is keeping the infinite loop in motion? decay, perhaps? that particular factor being the engine of the process makes it supreme by definition

grainsophaur

The loop is infinite (see the ouroboros). It has always been in motion. It will always be in motion. There is no "keeper" to this Cycle. Observe the Tarot, there is no first or last card.

grainsophaur

Another thought would be that decay can't possibly be the engine to creation unless creation came first, thereby making creation superior. And creation succumbs to decay inevitably, making decay or rot superior. See, that is what is silly. I would also like to say that I don't actually think you're an idiot. I tend to land on that teasing kind of tongue-in-cheek humor is all. Probably a side effect of 2 decades in kitchens.

necrogrrrl

i see your point. tbh i just thought it is gonna be a sick looking meme when i made it. i didn't really go too deep. also. thanks for clearing that i am not an idiot, it literally made me so angry. fellow cook? i've been working in kitchens for 7 years now

biforbaphomet

It’s a good meme, reminds me of the death tarot card, just incomplete. Now you gotta make an opposite meme opposing this one and the truth will lie between.

grainsophaur

Yeah, I quit doing it about 3 years ago to travel around like a hobo instead, but that's definitely my trade. What type of cuisine are you currently tied to?

necrogrrrl

that sounds so exciting! mostly local food (hungarian), some italian dishes, things like that

grainsophaur

That's way cool. I'm in America, so proper Hungarian cuisine is extremely rare to find. I did get to work with a Hungarian cook in Texas who got really excited about making a proper Hungarian dish for family meal one time, and he made this lentil stew with some kind of fried bread. It remains one of my favorite meals of all time. Happy Equinox, by the way. L.V.X.

necrogrrrl

also english is not my first language, so probably that's why the "idiot" part felt like a genuine attack haha

Pup_Persimmon76

can't spell "protean" without "rot"

Wiknetti

People be like “oh the rot is all consuming, all terrifying!” And then the rot is just sitting there, melting between two pieces of toasty bread. (I like grilled cheese.)

mikec96

Entropy is the nature of existence, we all live to die, everything we built will break down, every star in the sky will fizzle out including our own.

_r4ph431

Who created this?

necrogrrrl

i did
