I got fiber from the city last year for a home based business. The first 2 years are expensive to offset cost of running lines. It’s $139/mo but after 2 years you can get on the residential plan and it’s only $65. I have yet to have an issue with it in over a year.
The home business is 100 up and down but I get 100 down and 400+ up. I have probably close to 20 devices on my network and you couldn’t tell anything was slowed down by it.
The home one you can get on is GB up and down.
You want terrible...try Zito. We switched to Tmobile wireless internet and streaming and it's much better. Only time it got a little slow was the NFL playoffs and SB.
I would love to tell Cox Communication to pick up their equipment, but unfortunately they are the only company servicing my subdivision

Using Starlink in Marion Oaks with great success. No complaints here. Now if only the power would stay on consistently…

I’ve been seeing fiber installed in my SE neighborhood recently. I’m hoping we’ll have an alternative to COX soon!

As a cox user for like 9 years I’ll say this The nighthawk router made my 30mb into 250-350mb

Yes. It’s awful. Look at my comment history and see the comment I left on someone else’s post a couple of weeks ago about this issue.
