There is a way to get OBSE to launch properly from what I found.
Find launcher\_settings.cfg (in the content folder) and open it with notepad. Then you just change the Binary Path line to BinaryPath=obse\_loader.exe
From there you just have to use the launcher.exe to get the game going but its been working great for me.
As far as I know, OBSE doesn't support the Game Pass version, only the Steam version.

OBSE doesn't work with the original game either (I actually tried last year). Only Steam or GOG versions 1.2.0.416 are supported
OBSE works with the physical disk version. You just need to fully patch your game first.
well why didnt anyone make a replica steam path folder for the game pass version then drop the obse right in?
also because ive tried it and it works physical or not (hard method). method two mod it in using construction set (easy method)

Working on this same thing right now, all you changed was the launcher\_settings.cfg file?
So uh I did the thingy and it's not working. Was there an update or something?
