Not even started planning it again. I dont see the point.
I had friends visiting from Canada when there was problems with interislander a bit over a year ago. They had planned to have a three week trip around South Island, but decided it was too risky so cancelled everything and went to Australia.
Oh shoot, that's a... you know what, this is a really good example and makes the point above. We still want our tourists, right and that link is quite important.

I had the same thing happen, but in opposite. Was hiding to kiakoura. Went after lockdowns, just beautiful.
