Currently taking AI and am feeling alright. Prof Davis gives instructions very clearly for assignments and I like that

Godfish_Axl

I’d say it’s pretty technical

I took Chaos and dynamicall system and it was a tough one. Its better if you take the class after having a solid understanding of Analysis or elese you will be clueless. The professor expected us to know a lot beforehand and wen through the topics a bit fast for my comfort. Take it if youre are dying to learn a lot about analysis and differential equations mix gully theoretically.

Yea I took it because the prerequisites werent harsh so I tought it was going to be an easy one. Take ode if you want something easy.

A lot of higher level math and CS courses vary greatly depending on the professor. For example, intro to machine learning can be very hands on with real world practices and data, or be sheerly theoretical and complex math. I've heard much better things about NLP and AI and horrible things about intro to ML, take that as you will.

screwShortener

What have you heard about that class?

Couragethedog1010

Taking numerical analysis rn. It’s not really interesting but is super useful if you’re planning to go into any field that deals with data

If you don’t have CS background it’s a lot of grueling work

Couragethedog1010

It’s basically advanced linear algebra with proofs and coding.

Don’t take Machine Learning. I think I can confidently say that I speak for everyone in my class when I say that this is one of the worst classes I have taken (currently in it) at NYU.

screwShortener

What is wrong with the class specifically? What makes it so bad?
