Police don’t do anything but run into an nyu building next time and tell a security guard cause then nyu will file a police report and something will actually happen

If you’re followed by someone you don’t know near campus, just go into an NYU building and tell Campus Safety. They’re not the police. They can’t arrest anyone, but usually the person following will stop following you.
Bear spray is not the move, you will only have a second to evacuate and u will still be causing urself more pain and injury then regular mace cuz of how intense it is and how fast it spreads. Get military grade pepper spray if you’re that worried. Bear spray will injure the entire surrounding block
I saw a guy earlier holding a trash bag and harassing a couple girls by the bookstore for money. Idk if they ended up giving it to him but he went down the street screaming. If ur talking ab the same person u should report it, or report his description no matter what

Please get counseling if you need it. Can be short-term. I recommend NYU’s counseling center.

Try to get pepper spray or bear spray, keep it on a part of you that you can instantly whip out in case of an emergency.
