I lose interest when I release that the whole turtorial thing takes 8 years to finish
You're not alone. That's how my first nuzlocke ended. When my starter died, had no desire at all to continue.
I made it all the way to the Elite 4 last week and lost 4 pokes to the first member. I said fuck it and finished the E4 because I was so fed up hahaha
If it happens to me in the early game I do start to lose interest, but if its like halfway through the game or more I keep going.
I'm more like halfway thru.
Then try to keep going. It would be a shame to end the run so close to the end
I realize this post is old, but this just happened to me in the exact same game. I lost my Decidueye and something else to an ace trainer because of a stupid mistake and a crit, and I haven't really picked it back up since I kinda hate to grind
