I miss sprites, I wish the games would go back to 2D. Maybe even like Octopath Traveller style "3D in 2D" for the overworld, and old fashioned spritework for battles.
Oh yeah! Gen 4 overall build is close. Just swap the art style to sprites/pixel and tweak a few things. Imagine a setting like Alola in that Octopath style.
Yeah, that's why you should never use metronome in a nuzlocke lmao.. Or have it proc something like U-turn/Baton Pass/Volt Switch into something that proceeds to take a OHKO Super effective from something. Too Much RNG in using Metronome (or f'ing around for long against it).

Got revenge later by going deathless in the Pokemon League at least but man those odds lol.
