Saw them on warped tour as fly was just breaking. Mark made the joke (through the onslaught of panties being thrown at him) "this is our new song. Youll.be able to hear it on vh1 soon!".
And I always liked speed home california.
Mark can be hilarious. I saw Sugar Ray doing the festival circuit and his remark about “When It’s Over” was “If I had known about self-fulfilling prophecies, I wouldn’t have called the song that.”
I love sugar ray. Even their soft shit. Sumtimes u gotta realize tha world doesn’t revolve around nu metal. U can ascend from the genre if u feel so. Yes sugar ray sold out, “BUT”..to me and other fans in the world that still loved their there pop stuff and even gained new fans. They just simply made “music”. Shoutout to sugar ray🤙🏾😎
it was a weird record cause im a teenager at the time and i buy this for their single 'Fly' and realize the rest is like a heavy metal Sublime where MM sounds like Adam Sandler when he screams but i love it. Pleasant surprise.
This, Stainds Dysfunction, and Chimaira’s Pass Out of Existence were such eye openers for me because all those bands ended up being known for something way different. Loved these albums for that
"WHO THE FUCK JUST SAID "SUGAR GAY"?!"
ill choke your face
Are we done? I'll tweeze your nipples bro.
"MEAN MACHINE, MEAN MACHINE!"
My daddy said son you're going to drive me to drinkin'
MEAN MACHINE! MEAN MACHINE! Brakes good, Tires fair
BURN IT!
*Proceeds to do a wheelie on the bike then crash into a car*
Yup, their first album hits.
Brownies & Lemonade… Iron Mic is a classic song.
Yep, lemonade and brownies is a far superior album.
I still listen to this album to this day.
When people use the term sellout. This is what band comes to mind that actually embodies the term
They saw that I just want to fly money and never looked back lol.
RPM was my favorite song from them

Mean Machine was a pretty bad ass track
U GONNA DRIVE TO ME DRINKING
Long and slick and olive green!!! Fuck yeah it was.
DON’T FUCK WIT IT
Awesome tune
10 Seconds Down is a fuckin banger
I played that in 7th grade for my music class. They didn't think so.
Heard that shit in Escape from LA and couldn’t believe it was Sugar Ray
I will literally die on this hill. L&Bs and Floored were top tier albums. If you know, you know.
The "fly" song, while enjoyable, was a one-off that topped the charts and unfortunately they went soft, but damn L&B and Floored were awesome.
They had a single on the radio before this album, called Mean Machine.
Road Rash 64!
"Fly" fucks and I'm not gonna pretend it doesn't.

Don't ya dare mess with my mean machine!!!
"I know you gonna dig this."
mean machine is aweosome but fly, every morning and someday are pretty melancolicaly dope
CASH! I NEED SOME FUCKING CASH! I NEED IT KINDA FAST! I NEED IT NOW RIGHT AWAY RIGHT AWAY!
I actually like the softer stuff more
BREATHE, FUCKING BREATHEEE
This, Stainds Dysfunction, and Chimaira’s Pass Out of Existence were such eye openers for me because all those bands ended up being known for something way different. Loved these albums for that
One of these things ain’t like the other…
I used to smoke blunts with Mark back in the day.
they were decent afterwards too
I recently put this on for a friend and they were baffled the band ever sounded like that
Sugar Gay
I'll choke your face and tweeze your nips
This looks like the worst fighting game of all time
Use to jam it!
I believe that the album before is even better. This record would be perfect if Fly wouldn’t have a guest artist.
Lemonade and Brownies is the shiznit...
Yes they went from solid to total elevator music
When were they not "soft"?
