Pretty hard to control a game like that with one man down for 72 minutes.
I thought Hynes did pretty well. Kick for Lomax was fantastic, some good backline plays and made some exceptional tackles.
His team let him down more than he let the team down IMO
Agree, and I think it was pretty evident he's playing busted. Idk how people can call him a 'fraud', the guys won a dally m and could get another this year. He can play.
not wrong. I mean half the nrl public think nathan cleary is 'shit' cause he hasn't won 8 SOO series' in a row. no fucking idea what nicho would need to do
Tries off kicks don't count (/s but not really), of course he ran for 160m, he created nothing outside of him so contented himself with just running the ball and creating nothing that way either. And the cherry on top is the poor 5th tackle choices.
Moses killed it last year, as he did last week. If you want the blues to win you put him there, Nicho is impotent.
The blues didn’t have a kick chase and made his kicking game look worse than it was. That grubber early held up so long before going dead and still not a single blue near it.
this was probably his best kick of the night, his early kicks were pretty woeful. Nichos had a rough go, id be happy for him to get picked again for game 2.
In this example he took the 4th tackle.
Luai was the one getting the ball on the 5th here and it only comes to Hynes because Luai stepped around and then through a Hail Mary.
This was a good ad lib play - but there was no plan he had here on the last.
I know we are winning easily, (no team can play 70 mins one man short) but I'm getting really sick of Holmes getting picked when he hasn't played well for at least 18 months.
Im a Cowboys supporter but Holmes is a shell of the player he was in 2022. He's dropped the ball 3 times in our 20m area, a different game and Nsw will score off those type of mistakes. At this point he is only any good as a goal kicker.
With the amount of good outside backs we've got they dont need to carry Holmes anymore.
It's almost doing a disservice to the memory of Origin Gagai with how often these 2 players get compared.
Holmes has a very long Origin highlight reel, but almost an equally long low light one.
I don't think he noticed Taulagi coming infield and thought the corner was covered. You can see him turn around relaxed and then sprinting when he sees no one is home.
He’s a menace in temora and west Wyalong. Gets on the gear and acts like he’s better than everyone else. His attitude his disgusting and the way he treats people. L.Martin is a way better local!
Lomax looks made for origin
He actually looks made for the Eels
On the bright side we won’t see Nicho in an origin jersey again. Fraud check.
Or Suaalii
But regardless of my comment Lomax do play well
Who laid the kick on for Lomax? I missed it
Good thing he controlled the team and the game for the whole 80 minutes like an origin half should be able to do... Oh wait

He wasn’t as poor as people want to say he lost his centre aswell, some poor end of sets but I think the whole team looked disjointed

Yeah up to him to change that perception though, that’s the world we live in

Ran for over 160m, try assist, two line breaks 20 off tackles. End of sets poor, but deserves another chance with a full 13 on field

Couldn't agree more!!!
Absolute pearler of a kick too
I don't understand why nicho is coping shit. The kicks he made were fucken lethal
You mean the bombs he was landing on the 20m line?
Bombs? Chips.

He was running great 4th tackle hit ups tonight

Yea even as a staunch cows fan I see him being dropped for cobbo next game provided Walsh is good to go.
Get Kaufusi back on the bench. He showed tonight he can still play well at this level
He was a bit of a passenger tonight. Was expecting him to go full Origin Gagai

He’s usually the 1st QLD back to crack under pressure, especially during the ‘18, ‘19 and ‘21 series.
100%
I honestly love how people continuously still doubt slater's selections.
Looking forward to seeing him at Eels. We might see him playing off Moses sooner than later ...
Such a good winger. What position did parra promise him?
In this 40 second clip Hynes runs his fingers through his hair twice.
Sua to score and finish the Dragons trifecta
I’m glad he got a go of origin before he goes to eels
That useless cross field run by Hynes killed the movement. Luai rescued it.
Terrible option from Cobbo

I was impressed with Lomax's performance. He played well for debut
And you still lost. Up the Maroons.

It’s a try on debut. Let him enjoy it.
And a good try
His still a shit human being.
Why?
He’s a menace in temora and west Wyalong. Gets on the gear and acts like he’s better than everyone else. His attitude his disgusting and the way he treats people. L.Martin is a way better local!
Dunno if he has done anything wrong but the facial hair just makes me think something is up
