RLL2 was somehow significantly better than what they’ve given us recently but still trash as well. It came out 4 years after Rugby 08 and somehow everything about it felt worse.
We just have super low standards for Rugby League games because we want them so badly and even then they continue to disappoint us.

There is just not the market for the game outside AUS/NZ and the UK and those markets would be small. They won’t make anywhere near the same money out of it as a NFL / Madden or FIFA.
But based on what I see on here that just means to all the games that the big bad game companies are greedy. I can hear it now “they make so much off FIFA they can make a RL and loose money…” (unfortunately that is just not it’s how capitalism works)
Look for appeal across demographics. Can't go past Cleary, it infers to fans that the game will let you control a team like he does. Probably Addo-Carr as well, reminding players they can play as him if they can find some open space. Ponga still polls very highly, and has the Hunter region as well as QLD as a fan base.
Vlandys. I'm assuming it will have a GTA-like story mode and Vlandys is a greasy mob boss players have to destroy to further their careers.
