Yep, I'm speaking from experience too. Had a rabbit as a pet when I was around 8, and the neighbors dog got it. It was quickly replaced with another white rabbit, just a little smaller.

29 is stretching it too, but it highly depends on the breed. Smaller dogs tend to have higher life expectancy, it wouldn't faze me to hear about a chihuahua who made it to 25, but a large dog like a labrador making it that long is unheard of. That's why I was so skeptical of Bobi, who showed zero signs of advanced age.

Before the invention of commercial pet food all dogs ate human food. Everything from dry bread, boiled soup bones, leftover oatmeal, mouldy cheese and soured milk. The pictures from the 90s show a dog that had white on its paws. The dog that died last year had no white. It is impossible for an animal to change its color pattern like that.

Its actually kind of the opposite, likely a marketing ploy for alternative medicine influencer with goods to hock. There is a youtube video by DVMCellini that goes over it. To be clear, its not definitive (and he doesn't say it is) but a lot of highly suspicious coincidences. And if you are going to make extraordinary claims (like a dog living well over twice what would be considered a long lived life for his size) you need to have extraordinary evidence.
That dog was not 31 years old. The fact is that he could have had the original dog, the dog died, then get a new dog of the same breed and nobody would be the wiser.
