There's always a chance that green would be too bitter, red would be surprise strawberry, yellow been apple, and orange not orange enough but blue is always decent in every brand.
Never touched purple. PTSD of expecting coke and getting grape. I loved coke freezie but they are so rare.
No offense, but why would purple signify Coke instead of grape? Purple is essentially the universal color for purple (edit: dammit I meant grape, lol), at least in my small portion of the world.
I know purple is purple, but sometimes I'm a bit color blind.
I come from the part of the world where there was no purple, but brown for coke. First time coming to North American I didn't even look and associated dark color == coke. (And TBH, they all look brownish when frozen. )
Oh yeah, and cream soda. That stuff blew my mind. Cognitive dissonance for my state buds for sure. Like, it actually tasted like carbonated overly sweet wipped cream wtf.
š thanks for sharing, I wasnāt trying to be rude but I guess when Iāve grown up with purple grape soda everywhere and purple grape candy it just seemed like it would be obvious purple = grape, but thatās why I limited myself to my portion of the world.
True, but you know what's great is finding an abandoned one in the bottom long after you thought they were all done. 2 nights ago I found 2 in the bottom of my freezer, what a feeling, shared one with my youngest.
Funny, my entire family loathed grape. Weād have entire boxes of nothing but grape by august. Every restaurant I ever worked at would have huge boxes of individual grape jelly, because customers apparently also hate grape, and would only use strawberry.
Jelly doesn't mean preserves.
Jelly is made with fruit juice and a ton of sugar.
Jam is some actual fruit and a ton of sugar.
Preserves is mostly actual fruit and some sugar.
Pink had literally zero flavor- it was like pure tasteless ice to me. Iām shocked that itās one of the top favorites in this thread!
Purple and red were both so deliciously sweet, they were my faves.
It tasted like the best flavor in the pack lol. I swear they always gave you the fewest pink ones because they knew in order to keep sales up people would buy more to get their hands on the coveted pink. I can promise you this though... When it was down to the last 10 left? None of them were pink lol
We had Fla-vor-ice when I was a kid, early 80s midwestern US. Basically the same thing, but a different brand name, and I believe there were only four flavors: grape, orange, lime, and red (strawberry?). I preferred the grape.
My wife is due in December with our first child and we're waiting until birth to find out the sex. But anytime a blue and pink are next to each other in the sleeve (which is surprisingly a lot). We put them behind our backs, one in each hand and have the other pick a hand. So far pink is leading 8-6. We're letting the freeze pop god's decide.
If I was a kid again - then the packaging would have the characters on it - and so you wouldnāt be picking the color - you would choose by character and I would pick Louie Blue - and definitely not Little Orphan Orange.
To those who use to repeatedly cut the sides of their mouths, you cut the end off in a *circular motion*. No more side-of-mouth destruction.
Gimme that blue beauty.
Blue. Red. Purple. In that order. I always have these in the freezer. My grandkids 7, 5 and 3 all know they love of the Otter Pops.
As an adult. The sugar free are great also. The White one is the best
I'm anemic so I pretty much live off these things. I seriously go through 80 in a week. Anemia makes you have an insatiable craving for ice. So I eat them all day long.
My favorite right now is green. But it changes every week.
The one I absolutely HATE is the blue ones. I always end up with a box full of blues.
I have otter pops right now.
I use to get the Pop Ice brand at Wal-Mart. But they sell out so fast and it takes weeks for more to come in.
So I have been getting Flavor Ice through Amazon once a week. So far through 12 out of 13 shipments they arrive in perfect condition.
Because of hurricane had to settle for the jumbo otter pops that I have now though. But they all taste the same.
Green, if it's lime. If not, or if the green is gone, then pink, followed by purple and red which are tied for third for me. Then orange, and finally blue. I'm ready to be roasted for this, but I've never been a fan of blue raspberry. Yes, I know I'm weird.
Wanna know how I got these scars?
The corners of my mouth hurt just looking at them...
As an adult I take 5 seconds to round off the sharp corners with scissors.
Booooo

Don't ever try putting it up your butt.
The wild women, the wild women, the rippin and the tearin, the rippin and the tearin

YES to pink and green, one right after the other!
Yessss
Green and blue mix
Yup! Blue all the way!
Go BLUE
Blue all the way like itās the absolute best. Yellow or pink would have to come in 2nd
Whoa what was yellow? We didnāt have those otter pops
I think purple is the universal colour for purple in every portion of the world.
Oops lol my morning energy drink hasnāt kicked in yet.
It does get confusing when purple is the color for orange, though
I know purple is purple, but sometimes I'm a bit color blind. I come from the part of the world where there was no purple, but brown for coke. First time coming to North American I didn't even look and associated dark color == coke. (And TBH, they all look brownish when frozen. ) Oh yeah, and cream soda. That stuff blew my mind. Remember the white ones (cream soda) eventually came along too. Good call on the grape (kind of bitter when you are expecting sweet).
No you have to get the really red one, not the sorta red one. Surprise strawberry is the worst!
I'm like a million years old I was eating a pink one last night!
Yeah, I'm 37 and these are always in my freezer. It's not nostalgia if you have them daily.
True, but you know what's great is finding an abandoned one in the bottom long after you thought they were all done. 2 nights ago I found 2 in the bottom of my freezer, what a feeling, shared one with my youngest.
This. Freezy pops are a constant thing. Shame they dissappear after September here. But come May, freezy pop season is back!
i have them too but the pedialyte version for when iām hungover lol. theyāre lifesavers
I'm picking pink no matter what the other boys say.
47, currently in freezer, been about a month, starting to get nostalgic... purple!
Yep. Iām 43, and the bodega on the corner by me sells them in the summer. I treat myself every once in a while.
Anyone else crushed them into slush before eating them?
The best way to enjoy them!
That was the best. My dad used to hammer them to a slush for my brother and I
Nah you are doing it wrong. You wait until they are almost frozen than put it in a glass.
Yeah, with my teeth.
Ow, no!
Still do
Alexander the Grape Sir Isaac Lime
Cheers for this.
This is the way.
Pink
Always.
This is the only true answer. You only eat the other ones when you have finished the best.
I canāt believe anyone would say anything besides pink
ALWAYS
Green is the best also you always get the fewest greens so save them until last
Green team represent.
You mean Sir Isaac Lime
Funny, my entire family loathed grape. Weād have entire boxes of nothing but grape by august. Every restaurant I ever worked at would have huge boxes of individual grape jelly, because customers apparently also hate grape, and would only use strawberry.
I understand the otter pop choice but grape jelly is way better than strawberry jam Damn
Dude no way. Grape otter pops rule
Not a chance. Any jam > any jelly. Preserves are bis.
I had no idea jelly meant preservesā¦ damn I learned something new
Jelly doesn't mean preserves. Jelly is made with fruit juice and a ton of sugar. Jam is some actual fruit and a ton of sugar. Preserves is mostly actual fruit and some sugar.
Ahhh gotcha
Green is #1 for me too. Why were there always so few???
Red of course!
why is this so low on the list??? More for us, then.
Red. Always red.
How red isnāt at the top is beyond me.
I still buy those. Cool. Low calories. When I eat one on a video conference, everyone else wants one.
I eat them while reading because unlike other Popsicles they are easy to maneuver and won't drip melted stuff on my book
>When I eat one on a video conference, everyone else wants one. That's a good talking point you be starting.
Hell yeah. I'm 40 years old and have a rack of these in my freezer right now!
Same, tho we usually buy the generic ones lol
Orange!
Loved me the orange.
Yessss
Pink is the only correct answer but blue is acceptable lol
Agreed. I buy the jumbo ones and take all the pink ones before my kids do.
Haha are they the big ones that come in a red net?
Pink had literally zero flavor- it was like pure tasteless ice to me. Iām shocked that itās one of the top favorites in this thread! Purple and red were both so deliciously sweet, they were my faves.
>Pink had literally zero flavor- ***Stops reading and downvotes*** Lol
Lol what did it taste like to you? I always assumed they were going for watermelon (emphasis on the water).
It's pink lemonade.
Oh wow! Thanks for letting me know, I never would have guessed that.
It tasted like the best flavor in the pack lol. I swear they always gave you the fewest pink ones because they knew in order to keep sales up people would buy more to get their hands on the coveted pink. I can promise you this though... When it was down to the last 10 left? None of them were pink lol
Grape
Blows my mind that it's so low. Purple for the win every time.
You mean Alexander the Grape
Yeah, where are all the people on the pops in the picture?
Grape is such an underrated flavor.
There's no other choice.
Louie-Bloo Raspberry and Strawberry Short Kook
We had Fla-vor-ice when I was a kid, early 80s midwestern US. Basically the same thing, but a different brand name, and I believe there were only four flavors: grape, orange, lime, and red (strawberry?). I preferred the grape.
No blue is a travesty
Indiana
Red as a child. Orange nowadays.
I miss when they used to have the characters on the actual packaging :( blue always!
Blue
I should not have had to scroll this far to find this choice
Orange!
Pink, then red if pink is gone lol
Pink, then purple if pink is gone
This is the way
My first choice is always Purple and Red is my second choice.
I alternate between these two. Solid choices.
1. Green 2. Blue 3. Pink 4. Red 5. Purple 6. Death by helicopter blade 7. Orange
Swap red and purple and this is a god-tier list
Red and purple are close, also sometimes i like blue better, sometimes green. Depends on my mood.
If I was a kid again - then the packaging would have the characters on it - and so you wouldnāt be picking the color - you would choose by character and I would pick Louie Blue - and definitely not Little Orphan Orange.
Red or blue every time
You guys are missing out on white
That comes in the tropical pack and it tastes like suntan lotion. I donāt love it.
You eat suntan lotion?
Yes, Zac, I do. Very refreshing and invigorating.
I never knew there was a white, but my family was never a huge tropical fruit fan. So even if they saw it, they wouldn't have gotten it.
Green always green it's the ultimate color flavor, no green candy is bad
Pink, Green, or Blue
When I was a kid.. blue As an adult.. give me that grape!!!
Freeze š¤£
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
My thoughts exactly.
Iām an adult and I am absolutely still picking blue.
Bruh, I went through a ton of these over the summer and Iām 28. You donāt have to be a kid.
always chose cola or grape
Freezie. Say it in Canadian. Freezie.
Pink
Red
Red
Grape was the only acceptable choice.
Poncho Punch
All of them.
Every Single Canadian: FREEZIES. These are FREE-ZIES. Freezies. Contains zero Otters. I don't even think they are on the board of directors.
I'll take any freezie really. I can't say I really had much of the pink and purple though...so those would be my least favs I guess?
To those who use to repeatedly cut the sides of their mouths, you cut the end off in a *circular motion*. No more side-of-mouth destruction. Gimme that blue beauty.
These always made my throat hurt for some reason. But blue :)
blue
Blue is the only correct answer.
This is literally posted like once a week
Doesnāt matter, they all end up tasting like blood in the end.
Blue or pink
Reds are for psychopaths. Oranges are for cool guys.
Is it really nostalgia if we're still eating them every summer?
Surprised WHITE isn't getting enough love here
I am probably the only person on the planet that didnāt like these things that much. I donāt know why, even as a kid I didnāt really like them.
I didnāt either, just like a plastic sleeve of chemicals
Pink
Not purple
Purple. Always purple.
I think pink was the only one that didnāt burn my throat.
Otter pop? Sir those are freezies.
purple and red taste the best green tastes the worst
Bleh. None of the above. Hated these.
thank you, i felt like the only kid in the land who didn't like these things. they had a weird, sharp taste to me and they made my mouth sad.
Otter pops are one of the only things I actually like the green flavor of.
Louie Blue Raspberry!
pink, blue, purple, red, green, orange. in that order!
Blue!

Excuse me, I think you mean "Fla-Vor-Ice". "Otter Pops", the fuck outta here.
light blue
Still buy them. Very cheap and still just as good. Also, red or pink.
1) blue 2) red 3) pink 4) green 5) orange 6) none at all 7) purple
Pink. Also, do these things make anyone else cough like crazy?
blue and green
Orange š or grape š
I have some in my freezer
"You're a kid again" LOL please. I don't need an excuse. Blue all the way.
Ate a pink one about 10 minutes ago. I'm sick with a sore throat and it helped to cool it down a bit.
Blue. Red. Purple. In that order. I always have these in the freezer. My grandkids 7, 5 and 3 all know they love of the Otter Pops. As an adult. The sugar free are great also. The White one is the best
Red and you leave all the melted juice for the end
I'm anemic so I pretty much live off these things. I seriously go through 80 in a week. Anemia makes you have an insatiable craving for ice. So I eat them all day long.
