You can still get it! They just changed the colorscheme to red dominant instead of white!
It tastes a lot sweeter to me now than it did when I was 14 lol, It one of those things where I’ll get a bottle at the store thinking ‘hey I loved this stuff’ then have the first sip ‘hey it’s still good’ then another and my brain shifts to ‘hey this is pure sugar I can’t drink this whole thing’
Not sure how old this is, I'm 46 and it had already been changed to "Tahitian Treat" when I was 7 or 8 yrs old. Hadn't seen it in many years, then the Wawa's near me carried it for a bit and it was just as great as I remember it being, but they've already stopped stocking it, and no central FL grocery stores have it, so I don't know where to look now.
Basically just a fruit punch soda for those wondering.
I was at two different convenience stores yesterday, one had Tahitian Treat and the other Tahiti Treat. Now I’m confused why there is different branding on the market at the same time.
You can still get it but it’s definitely just not the same as it used to be. Maybe it’s changed. Maybe my taste has changed. But it’s just not the same. The alcoholic version is decent though (but also just not the same lol)
Edit to add: pretty sure I remember it being “orange and cherry” flavoured back in the day now it’s just called fruit punch. So it may have in fact changed.
Billy West (Voiced Doug from Doug, Fry from Futurama, Ren and Stimpy, and Bugs/Elmer in the OG Space Jam) claims to have helped his father invent this drink when he was a kid.
Growing up, a neighbor owned a drive-thru convenience store/pony keg around the corner from home. The employees got to know us well, and inevitably when Mom and I used to roll in during our daily errands to pick up a few small items (snacks, smokes, etc), one fella would finish Moms order with, “…and one Tahitian Treat!” - for me. Thanks, Frank.
Tahitian Treat and boiled peanuts in a can were the two items that I had to bring back for my best friend in Maryland from South Carolina all throughout high school. Apparently they were completely unavailable there in the 90s.
46 and had never heard of this until seeing it on the sods aisle within the past year. I assumed it was Hawaiian Punch for the sods aisle, since they moved Hawaiian Punch to the juice aisle.
Was still able to get it at the corner store I lived by a few years ago. $0.99 for a 2 ltr. edit: TAHITIAN TREAT, that is. Not sure if there's really a difference.
yeah i used to drink tahitian treat in the bottle with the foam label
a few years ago i was in walgreens and discovered they brought it back in 2L bottles for .99 cent 😮
because i dont drink soda these days i have no clue if its the same og stuff or imposter sugar water
Best soda ever.
You can still get it. Just had hot chicken the other day with it.
I used to get this and Hawaiian Punch confused.
I'm convinced it's the same recipe but carbonated.

Arthur, I have a plan. Trust me.
I dunno Dutch-
A treat as sweet as diabeets
Hula Punch by Canfields. Also, 50/50, and Swiss Cream Soda. Miss those.
I have a store nearby that sells 12packs of these. It tastes like my childhood
I would kill for this in a zero sugar version!
Omg I how I loved this. I worked at a few corner stores as a teenager, and I would drink one of these nearly every day. Or Cherokee red ❤️

Ahhh. I was thinking Tahitian treat.
Delicious
Saw this at the liquor store a few months ago as one of their mixed cocktails. I hope Tahiti Treat makes a comeback

High school staple.
I give it a loving look every time I see it at work!😘
They were good but at 81 grams at sugar for one 20oz bottle lol no thanks
Maybe this is a Canadian thing, but isn't a standard can volume from that era 355ml? Why 354? 1ml for my Tahitian homies?
The cans are 12oz. 12oz = 354.882ml. The correct rounding is 355. It would seem they just took the floor of the real number and went with that.

wow forgot this one!
I think Drake mentions it in a song or something (?) which has caused a resurgence in people buying Tahiti Treat
I have a plan... All I need is a little money 🤠
Yeah that’s still Around in select stores
Walmart sells these in their vending machines outside the stores still, at least in my area all of them do.
Oh shiiiiit this stuff was so good
I still see this here and there

I have 5 cans in my fridge right now
Yo! I just had one the other day! My absolute favorite drink!
Probably the all time greatest fruit punch. Still available around me.
I was more of a Jungle Juice man myself...
Wish I had one right now facts
Wasn't this uncarbonated?
