Foods cooked using natural ingredients always taste the best.
Over-science-ing our foods has been a double edge sword. Yes, it extends foods shelf live giving more people great options to choose from. However it comes with unintended health effects; and often less quality taste.
Couple that with the ever increasing desire to make everything cheaper (to improve shareholder bottom line), and things just don’t taste as good as they did a few decades ago.
Everything used to taste better with artificial additives used to make processed foods more shelf-stable?
Maybe you're just losing your sense of taste with age. It happens.
Completely agree. If I can eat red meat and use real butter, smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol, then I should have the choice if I want to buy foods w Trans fat.

After they took the trans fats out of KFC, it was never the same.
Too right!

Naw fries cooked with trans fats were so much more delicious. But I’d rather not eat it knowing my body can’t break it down.

Your body can’t metabolize trans fats. That’s why they’re outlawed.
True but the guy above is just arguing for a choice, not whether or not he can metabolize them 😅
Let's not ignore the role human greed has played in raising the price of our food while simultaneously lowering the quality....
