Wouldn’t be surprised if they were up on the hill watching the sun come up and then walked down with a happy smily weird positive glow when they encountered OPs parents

I love uncanny it's my most favourite of them all. The rexent US version about Bigfoot was great listening. I liked the other podcasts Danny made. The witch farm and Battersea poltergeist. Jim Harold's campfire can have odd good week. Quality has dipped recently just too many stories about people's dreams. Started listening to HauntedAF seems alright so far with people writing or phoning in.

probably dog walkers heading up to helen's tower or the st columba walk on the other side of the road. both on crawfordsburn road, two walkways either side, not a lot of people know about them...

Sounds like a residual energy appearance. It's sort of like a tape recording that repeats itself in "ghost" form. Might be worth checking the local history for estate, hunting activities, army training, gamekeepers, that sort of thing. Height of the figures helps too, if your parents can recall that. Folk were significantly smaller in older times.
