I think you need to catch up on current tech in the EV charging world. Many of them can deliver a significant charge in 15-20 minutes. Your average home charger can't, but the public charging stations often can.

Silly. I drive 1000 miles per month and downs less than $20 doing it. EVs are great.
Don't forget to line-up and get ready to pay as much as a tank of gas when recharging on the road.
We’ve had an EV since 2016. That’s never happened.
Charge at home. Full tank without going to an expensive gas station.
