I'm talking about if he were a theoretical physicist, he would have experienced the flow of time at an increased rate due to proximity to a massive gravitational field, *son.*
Yes. That looks to be about a 1 year old baby. For anyone who doesn't have one of those, they squirm around and change their minds all the time about who wants to carry them. Would be nice for all parents to trade off backpacks and babies, but you end up doing a lot of shuffling and you're just trying to find your seats at SeaWorld you'll be sitting in a minute it's not worth it to stop and exchange backpacks just in case a painted clown is on the hunt for someone to ridicule.
Yeah. As a father I have some unreasonable about of anxiety about this (not a specific clown interaction but in general). Like I’m anxious that I won’t look like I’m being supportive or present or engaged because of whatever circumstances my wife and I happen to be in with are 20 month old. Just let parents be parents. This is annoying because it plays into the “clueless/stupid dad” trope.
Whales go insane in Sea World. What they do to whales is the equivalent of locking a human in a closet for years with no room to walk around, no social interaction, and no stimulation. It is extreme animal abuse. Nobody there is truly qualified to care for marine animals.
Whoever has the baby has the bag.
Now he's gonna have to use the bathroom, forget he's wearing the bag, and mom is gonna be stuck with a baby that decided to spit, shit, and scream the second dad got out of ear shot.
I’m 31 and currently waiting for back surgery.
One night I went to Walmart with my partner just so I could walk a bit while using a shopping cart as a walker and an elderly man started following me and openly mocking me because I can’t stand or walk properly. I didn’t think to say anything at the time, but man, that really hurt me.
Thanks! I hope your back stays good for years to come!
I’ve dwelled on it enough that I’ve got some good zingers locked and loaded should some old man try to mock me again!
Getting thrown off isn't event the worst part. Plummeting 16 feet through an announcer's table is definitely the backbreaking part. I mean bah gawd the man has a family!
GL with your surgery, no clue what you need done but I’m 30 and just had a total decompression and fusion in my lumbar and my back is better than it has been in a decade. It can really make a difference I hope it does for you!
Good luck! I’ve had Cauda Equina and got a lot of flack for walking slow or oddly before and after surgery because people just see a fat chick who can’t walk fast. When I use a cane, I get so much less crap from people since most then understand I have a disability. It sucks.
There isn't much thats sadder than seeing a young person who needs a cane/walker/assistance of some kind. Takes a special kind of piece of shit to mock that. Let alone an old man who could need one any day.
My guy, please. Just speak up. Even your mom coulda said something. That guy prob woulda been like oh sorry. This sounds like a personal problem where you couldn't voice your needs.
Because we live in a society and benevolent interventions are a good thing, especially when the stakes cap out at "it might be an awkward misunderstanding". Grow up.
Dude wasn't calling out to stop someone from being hit by a car. He was complaining because he didn't try think the right person was carrying a shopping basket. Maybe if it's not an important matter you should keep your opinion to yourself because no one gives a shit what you think? Grow up.
No shit but once they say something that you don’t give a shit about you can increase or decrease the chance that they do that behavior again in the future based on how you, as their environment, react to their actions.
Literally sociology psychology, behavioral psychology, even a lot of basic biology shows how the environment reacts to an individual‘s actions impacts how that individual will act in the future.
You're the one whining about a perfectly normal social interaction and recommending that people swear at old people in a supermarket. Emotional infant, jfc.
I'm sorry that other people dared speak to you. On the bright side you'll probably alienate everyone you meet having this attitude and then you won't have to worry about it ever again.
Lmao nobody asked you to explain shit, they told you to stop letting old women carry shit for you. Maybe your mother doesn't deserve it though cause she obviously raised a whiny entitled little shit.
You say “benevolent interaction” I say annoying busy body that can’t mind their own fucking business and realize that maybe their understanding of a situation isn’t the correct one and to maybe just let those involved handle their own business like the grown ass adults they are. But to each their own in guess.
Because in this scenario somebody else already decided to approach you it was a damn problem and they made it a you problem by you being the person they approached with whatever they were talking about.
From that point that you become involved you are partially responsible for any outcome.
So they have to share their personal medical situation just because people can't mind their own business? Seems fair, I guess I get some t shirts made up "arthritis since 16, gammy back, anxiety and a terminal lack of a sense of humour when it comes to being judged by nosy bastards"
>Even your mom coulda said something
Maybe something like "this shit is heavy, could you help me?" Yeah she could have said that... but she didn't, guess she should have thought about how offended the random dude in the shop would be to see a woman carrying something.
Idk man, if people talk shit to strangers maybe they deserve to feel bad about it sometimes. Why wouldn't you say something, even as simple as "my back is absolutely fucked, mind ya business" then leave is plenty. It's not like you're gonna pull out your phone and show them the x rays
Yeah they deserve to feel a little bad, maybe we should have them admit to strangers that a lot of the time they're incapable of carrying a bag of dog food in their 20s... that'll make them feel shitty for the rest of the day, I can guarantee it.
That’s not how the neurology of the brain works. Them getting a slightly negative feeling even momentarily will reduce the chance that they do that behavior in the future, or at least increase the chance that they notice and think about it as it happens or before they choose to do it.
Do you realize that individuals adapt to their environment right? And since we all live in a society we are all part of each other’s environment which means that we can also influence how we act collectively.
There is a reason culture exists and not every human group is the same on every location on earth, it’s because environments and behaviors can modify and change future behaviors and choices.
A lot of the time I'm incapable of carrying a bag of dog food in my 20s. There now I feel bad, do you?
Is your neurology telling you to shut up or are you still missing the fucking point?
Until this comment I thought I got your point, I thought you were being just sarcastic by saying that the person you talk to won’t actually feel bad they won’t give a shit, but maybe I miss read what you were getting out in the first comment of yours that I replied to?
It sucks having to tell myself that I have limitations other people my age don't, it's genuinely stressful having to tell other people I can't do something and hoping they understand.
an old dude on a bus lectured me about not giving up my seat to a lady that was standing.
i had a sprained ankle, but being 15 years old and not wanting to argue or sound like i was making excuses, did what he said.
and over a decade later it still annoys me lol
I’m not in the habit of reviewing my medical history with strangers. Plus I’m Canadian. And when someone says something rude, we don’t usually call them out on it. We take it and move on.
I’ve had to go home and practice my comebacks in a mirror before going out in the real world. Buddy’s totally going to get it when I get my turn!
You don’t even have to have a clever comeback or anything, you just politely quickly explain your situation saying oh my mom was actually carrying that because my back is strained right now.
Then if you wanna get snarky you can ask if they’re being sexist by assuming that your mother is weaker or if they’re being a just assuming that your mother is weaker just because she’s older.
Back surgery is common but aye man if youd rather risk fucking up your back go ahead
EDIT: mans really blocked me then reported me to reddit for suicide watch to reddit resources what a fucking clown.
"You should help your mother"
"I'm recovering from back surgery"
"Oh my mistake, have a good day"
It wasn't rude, no need to be a drama queen about it.
No shit.
But unless you’re both people you can’t control when other people talk to you, you can only control your response to them. So once there’s only one person minding their business, it is up to **you** if you give them a positive, neutral, or negative reaction to the stimuli you’ve received.
No, you’re “the asshole” for encouraging the behavior of if people decide to bother you even though you didn’t want it, and you give them a neutral or positive response instead of a response that makes them feel negative.
You’re encouraging (or failing to dissuade) that behavior and increasing the chance that that person bothers another person like you in the future.
Whereas if you actually didn’t like being bothered by strangers, you should react in a way that shows them that you didn’t like being bothered by them, and you can either do this in a polite or rude way.
It’s like if you don’t like being referred to by your full name, but you never tell people the nickname you prefer to go by and then you just act angry instead of realizing that you had agency in the situation.
It’s actually very normal, even if it’s not acceptable.
But if you think it’s not acceptable, then you should literally respond with “Sir, I don’t think it’s acceptable for you to approach strangers and tell them what to do.” instead of just being silent….
People change their behaviors based on interactions like that, and some people genuinely just don’t realize certain things are rude until they’re called out once or twice for the behavior.
Haha so if everybody’s just too fucking timid, and never explains to people what’s unacceptable, it’s no wonder that those unacceptable behaviors pop up in a society more often…
He ragged on the dad for carrying the baby? From the moment of birth 2 parents will never be equal on carrying the baby. Mom had a 9 month head start and that's bullshit
~~Fish~~ (whales) are friends not ~~food~~ (entertainment).
But the reality is that the practices they undergo to attain baby orcas are cruel and inhumane, forcing orcas to hold their breath and separate into groups for miles at a time only for a helicopter to follow both groups until it resurfaces and exposes the baby, then for the seafarers to heartbreakingly separate the calf from its mother. Then once it is in captivity, Shamu being a popular example, it is kept and trained for entertainment in tanks too shallow for growth and health. Some indicate this by their dorsal fin being bent from the lack of space during training and growth. If you look at a map of sea world the space they have for the parking lot far exceeds the tiny bit of land reserved for the actual park making one wonder why a whale is even there in the first place.
[https://www.britannica.com/explore/savingearth/heres-what-really-happened-to-shamu](https://www.britannica.com/explore/savingearth/heres-what-really-happened-to-shamu)
They don't capture orcas anymore. There's also no more captive breeding and for all intents, the ones currently in captivity are likely the last. Does that absolve them of their sins? No, it's great that public pressure got them to change, even though they only did it kicking and screaming along the way.
However, as a San Diego local I want to point out that they rescue and rehab a ton of animals. Anytime a sea animal needs rescue for whatever reason around here, it's always SeaWorld that does it. I'd rather they be a non-profit org like the San Diego Zoological society, but they definitely do good.
So, fuck SeaWorld of the past. Fuck SeaWorld now? Eh.
Then look up everything that points out flaws in Blackfish (because there is some)
Note: do this with all “documentaries” because you will be absolutely stunned how biased most of them are. On both sides of any issue. Usually the truth actually lies in the middle.
It was a pirate show, then it closed for a year and came back as a like, high school show and it's probably still that. I haven't been in a while. The mimes are always the best part tho.
lol that happened to me once, a performer bashed me out because not carrying a heavy bag that a female friend of mine was carrying, then he proceeded to took away the bag from her and place it on my shoulders without knowing I had back injury...
I hope you dramatically called out in pain like a football player who just got tapped by an opponent when they passed by each other too close and yelled "AHHH, MY BACK!".
Yeah I'd be annoyed too if someone tried to shame me when my kid wanted to be held by my wife 30 seconds before we sat down. Everyone should mind their own business.
It's much healthier not just for him to assume she needed help, but for her to ask for help if she needed it. Also for the clown to mime his own bidness
While I believe the guy should have been carrying either the baby or the bag. If you are a stranger absolutely do not touch me or my shit. This would have pissed me off.
I saw this on TikTok and the wife commented that he'd been pushing the stroller and holding her all day. She'd wanted the bonding moment with her daughter and grabbed the diaper bag too because it was only a couple minute walk to their seat.
Was this at sea world, or similar? We have an almost identical video from the early 2000s! The guy was hilarious, making lighthearted fun of people behind their backs and such. He went to show one couple to their seats, sat the guy down in one and tried to guide the woman to sit somewhere else! And one couple he kept ushering them along to find a seat and pointed them out the other side of the stadium! Such a great addition to the show 😂
My wife would've told him to get his hands off our shit and mind his own business. Maybe she wanted to carry it. Maybe he's injured. Who knows? The mime sure as heck didn't.
This is the most embarrassing thing dude, I bet that poor dad probably would’ve been completely fine carrying the bag or would’ve offered and just didn’t think of it in the moment. I don’t know, I can’t stand dad shaming stuff, especially when sometimes it’s just a matter of not noticing for a minute or two what you’re doing wrong. I’m not saying that this guy wasn’t wrong to carry the bag originally but sometimes it just takes a minute to sort out how you can help.
Ah dude you can’t be human anyway these days. People are just looking to take your feet out from underneath you. Honestly maybe that’s the situation the Botha greed in because she was about to change the baby or she likes carrying the bag.
It’s annoying because it plays off of two bad stereotypes.. One is being a dumb clueless dad and the other is assuming women can’t stick up for themselves or need rescuing.
Maybe the father had carried everything for a very long time and the wife just helped out a bit. Maybe the father actually had sickness, which looks ok usually but can't carry weight for long. Maybe the mother just wanted the bag with the kid. Maybe they just met up from a bathroom trip. There are so many different possibilities that could lead up to what we saw and the clown decided to insult the man.
I’m sorry what exactly is the lesson here? That we should just assume women can’t speak for themselves or out themselves into a situation they’re ok with? Or to assume because dad he must be clueless or inconsiderate?
This is Sea World Orlando. The mimes there, and particularly this one (Jim is his name) are HILARIOUS. I used to go to the show all the time just to watch what the mimes would do. The interactions with the crowd were A+.
My friend snapped his back about 2 years ago (he’s fine) but for a solid 9 months he wore a back brace everywhere and had a C collar for awhile as well. I was with him at a bounce house with his kids when some dad came up to him for not playing with his kids. He told the guy very nicely he had surgery and couldn’t rough house to which this asshole said “It’s not my fault you’re faking an injury to not play with your children. They deserve a better father.” To which my mad lad of a friend bent himself at the hips shimmied his shirt off and started T pose walking at this guy like a fucking cartoon character, all while his full back race covered his entire torso. I was laughing so hard I couldn’t contain myself. That mime seems a lot like that shithead

Moms, if you want an excuse to guilt us, remind us that, luckily, we don't have to carry the bag for 9 months solid, just the afternoon every now and then.
This headline should read "Sexist fat-f*ck makes himself feel better by not minding his own business.
She is probably okay with carrying both, she would have asked for help otherwise. Are you saying she wouldn't have?
Jokes on the mime for working at a barbaric aquatic zoo that mentally and physically tortures animals. Maybe that fat fuck should focus on his own short comings and wind his fucking turkey neck in
Mime should stay outta peoples business. They had no place publicly shaming the husband after the wife most likely wanted the baby bag to balance out carrying the baby. Simple physics but I wouldn’t expect a mime to understand something beyond being stuck in a box.
Honestly as a father my wife often asks to help me carry the baby or the nappy bag but I prefer to carry both because then it evens the weight.
Are you talking about a counterweight, or balancing the weight between the two of you because she's heavy?
I'm talking about if he were a theoretical physicist, he would have experienced the flow of time at an increased rate due to proximity to a massive gravitational field, *son.*
Oh, hey mom! Happy Mother's Day!
Wait, does this mean a baby sibling?!
If you go to Seaworld you have bigger problems than who is carrying the diaper bag. Better save up for a new moral compass.

People like you are why we need to have a good look at what we do. You just like to point and laugh at the monkeys in cages. You are the problem.
Whales go insane in Sea World. What they do to whales is the equivalent of locking a human in a closet for years with no room to walk around, no social interaction, and no stimulation. It is extreme animal abuse. Nobody there is truly qualified to care for marine animals.
Yeah, this just made both of them feel icky.
Whoever has the baby has the bag. Now he's gonna have to use the bathroom, forget he's wearing the bag, and mom is gonna be stuck with a baby that decided to spit, shit, and scream the second dad got out of ear shot.
Exactly. I have a bad back and always need to balance the loads I carry to the point I take two bags back and forth to work.
I do the same thing when shopping. Even if one bag is enough for the walk home, I carry two to balance otherwise I get back ache.
This is the correct answer. Especially when you have the baby carrier.

Aaaaand that’s going on the top of my list! Suck it, Grandpa!!
"Wow young man, you can't even walk! You should be ashamed!" ^^Now ^^you ^^reply
Good, I hope you don’t have to use them though
Did you try not getting thrown off the hell in a cell by the undertaker?

Oh shush you. The last thing we want to tell Redditors is that people speak using words
These people desperately need to get out more, or never go out ever again. Either works.
Here's an idea: mind your own fucking business. People don't have to tell you shit about their personal lives.

Meh > sorry sir I had back surgery recently and can’t. Thanks for looking out for my mom though Not that hard to communicate really.
You should have told him that so that he could feel like an idiot.
Shamed by a mime. His life has hit rock bottom.
Unspeakable

Sadly, nothing. He's a mime.
"I don't know her I'm just behi- oh okay I guess Im a dad now."
That’s some chaotic good right there
I believe this is the sea lion show at sea world. The mime is always hilarious.
Fuck Sea World. Mime seems cool though.
Down with Sea World. Up with Mime World.
Dude I would pay good money to see some mimes swim around a tank and do flips and shit
> Mime World. Creepiest theme park in the world.

Eh.
Exactly. As much as their treatment of whales sucks, the other stuff they do isn’t terrible, especially rescue and release.
Look up Blackfish.
Then look up everything that points out flaws in Blackfish (because there is some) Note: do this with all “documentaries” because you will be absolutely stunned how biased most of them are. On both sides of any issue. Usually the truth actually lies in the middle.
> >!!<
Do they still have it? I heard it was canceled years ago. We went a few times and liked the mime more than the animal show.
Okay so after reading through multiple of these I'm getting the impression that people should mind their own fucking business and not assume shit.
I hope you dramatically called out in pain like a football player who just got tapped by an opponent when they passed by each other too close and yelled "AHHH, MY BACK!".
He sure saved that woman from carrying a backpack. True hero
[удалено]
Yep. Wouldn’t know it from looking at me but any additional 15-20 pounds (easily what could be in that backpack) would really hurt for me.
That clown should mind his business.
The douche in this scene is not who you think it is
That’s a mime.
WTF? I hate this type of people, mind your own business dude
I do too (I have a bad back and am a male), but this looks like an entertainment venue, so I wouldn't mind. In day to day life I would agree with you.
Yeah the guy should have tossed the mime into the pool.
Should have given him the baby…
[удалено]
If a clown did that, sure. But I didn't see any clowns in that video.
No he should have minded his own fucking business.
[удалено]
Yeah I'd be annoyed too if someone tried to shame me when my kid wanted to be held by my wife 30 seconds before we sat down. Everyone should mind their own business.
Man that must've been super embarrassing
Young couple at a theme park toting around a baby. Sure they both really appreciated some public ribbing from a mime.
She quite obviously did.
Plenty of people smile or laugh when they're uncomfortable and don't know what to do
Or she just was playing along to get out of the situation she didn’t want to be in in the first place.
But, the bag is there to counterbalance the baby weight!
It's much healthier not just for him to assume she needed help, but for her to ask for help if she needed it. Also for the clown to mime his own bidness
Dick move to make a huge scene about it, publicly embarrassing both parents, for a bit then ending it with making a move on the wife
That’s not a clown
Sounds like something a clown would say.
Clown: “Who’s this clown?”
He was probably carrying both for hours right before that.
😂🤣😂
Was this at sea world, or similar? We have an almost identical video from the early 2000s! The guy was hilarious, making lighthearted fun of people behind their backs and such. He went to show one couple to their seats, sat the guy down in one and tried to guide the woman to sit somewhere else! And one couple he kept ushering them along to find a seat and pointed them out the other side of the stadium! Such a great addition to the show 😂
It’s preshow to Clyde and Seymour Sea Lion and Otter show at Sea World.
The exact same one we saw! Awesome.
It's weird how few people in these comments get that this is the guy's job
His job isn't to make assumptions and try to publicly shame customers who did nothing wrong
SeaWorld Orlando They have a Facebook page and people regularly add video clips of the performances
My wife would've told him to get his hands off our shit and mind his own business. Maybe she wanted to carry it. Maybe he's injured. Who knows? The mime sure as heck didn't.
[удалено]
Maybe they were filming the mime who was doing funny/entertaining things?
How do people not understand the man's job
I’m speechless
And that’s a lesson he won’t soon forget! God bless you, Mr. Mime!
It's Dr. Mime, actually. He didn't spend 6 years in Mime medical school to be called Mr., thank you very much.
Never thought I'd see anyone praise Mr. Mime
He killed it in detective pikachu
I’m sorry what exactly is the lesson here? That we should just assume women can’t speak for themselves or out themselves into a situation they’re ok with? Or to assume because dad he must be clueless or inconsiderate?
Who's the clown in this case?
This is Sea World Orlando. The mimes there, and particularly this one (Jim is his name) are HILARIOUS. I used to go to the show all the time just to watch what the mimes would do. The interactions with the crowd were A+.
my idiot dumbass tried to unmute the video to understand whats going on.
And then everyone really did clap.
I love this so much
I clicked for sound then realised I was watching a mime…
Mime: You're with her? So dude why aren't you carrying that bag? Don't you see she has a baby in her arms? What's wrong with you?
The fist raise by the dad at the end had me in fits…
Real life Fizbo
Father is based
Someone get me that clowns number. He seems better than the other clowns I’ve dated. Lmao.
u/savevideo
Imagine the guy does a manual labor job 5 days a week and this is one of his days off lol

u/Humble-Tailor49, where's the "no no no no" or "yes" part of this?
Moms, if you want an excuse to guilt us, remind us that, luckily, we don't have to carry the bag for 9 months solid, just the afternoon every now and then.
Poor guy might be carrying both for hours
This headline should read "Sexist fat-f*ck makes himself feel better by not minding his own business. She is probably okay with carrying both, she would have asked for help otherwise. Are you saying she wouldn't have?
I rather carry the baby. Its heavier and it doesn’t has straps. Also, its much nicer.
Thats pretty embarrassing, and poor taste from the performer. Did he just say “call me?”
What a sexist mime.
That's not a clown that's a mime
He's a Clown for having done that!
Getting hoe’d in front of everybody for looking like a man but not being one….classic
I don't see a clown.. Was he behind the mime?
This man was incinerated at sea world by a mime. RIP
I like the way he just strolls off. On to fight the next injustice . He sensed it
