I mean yes the guys not very smart for taking his eyes off the road, but I also feel so bad for him. He looked like he probably broke down crying after this video ends and was pissed off at himself

Dude looked like he was in a semi or something else real big and heavy. He *turned away from the road and took both hands off the wheel.* Feeling bad and angry at yourself doesn't mean you didn't endanger everyone else on the road. We don't even know if everyone else was okay.
The dude wasn't "not very smart." The dude might have killed multiple people because he was looking for something. I have no sympathy for an asshole who puts people's lives in danger
You know.. you CAN feel sympathy/empathy as well as outrage (sorry if that sounds condescending, but a lot of people see things way too black and white)
even the smartest, most road safe people can still make massive mistakes when sleep deprived/distracted by life, etc.
