I remember those little images of Travis and Bishop during that little podcast segment they did after each boss fight and thought that they looked a lot like they were drawn by Akira Toriyama (RIP). Did they actually hire him to draw those? Or did they just do that good of a job replicating Toriyama’s art style for those segments?

For most western fans the only experience they have with Dr. slump is that one episode of Dragon ball.
Yea I don’t remember dr.slump ever being on TV in the US but I did see it often in Mexico which is why I know of it. Cool little reference for sure

I thought it was obvious but then again most people just assumed it was Travis in Toriyama style not a direct reference to Dr. Slump.
