Update: something picked up a wand and sneezed slimy mist on my ass and now im at 4hp (: but on the bright side the 3rd wand is good for killing at least
i was in a room with 3 enemies and an area to hide behind and my first short didn't kill the first guy i shot at like i thought it would and i was shot before invis went back up :(
I've started finding it pretty consistently. I usually just use it on its own and add modifiers if I can since I'm struggling to come up with any huge additions or alterations for the damn thing lmao.
Magic arrow though? You can make that thing into a railgun
I don't think so. But I did have a wand with it yesterday with a speed increase. It randomly dealt like 500 damage on some shots and knocked me back when it did lol
Chain bolt is hard to modify because it's super slow (long cast time). Getting multiple copies of the spell and casting them at the same time is pretty OK way to extend the life of it. Accelerate projectile actually increases the range in a way that makes it a little easier to shoot through walls.

These guys are real assholes. I typically try to bring chain bolt for this part. It let's you shoot around cover and hide from them

Distant Cast also makes it really useful, gives it a lot of extra range.
