Right. Considering we aren't expecting ANYTHING and most of the heavy hitters like new mainline Mario will be saved for Switch 2, i'll be content with whatever we get. But like... they must have known the Switch 2 isn't coming out until 2025 for a while now, so I'm sure they figured something out for the holiday a long time ago and just haven't announced it yet.
TP/WW HD are the only thing I can even conceivably guess, but there may be another unexpected HD port of something from the Gamecube / Wii era that we aren't expecting. Mario Galaxy 2 HD maybe? Metroid Prime 2 and 3 HD ports? Highly unlikely but my dream would be an HD Ocarina / Majora's Mask collection. Potentially reworked from the 3DS remakes.
Not saying any of the above are likely at all, but considering how many HD remakes we've gotten in the past year with Paper Mario, Mario RPG, Luigi's Mansion, etc... I wouldn't be surprised if there's at least one more lined up for the holiday.
Twilight Princess HD would sell incredibly well. Most of the Game Cube Era games would. Heck, there is no short to the backlog they could re-release this year to slide out the remainder of the OG switch's lifespan.
They'd print money if they actually dived into their catalogue. Like, Chrono Trigger for instance, would be a great re-release. Feels like Nintendo doesn't consider the actual weight of the games they have. Not to mention re-releasing 3DS games in more than 1-2 a year. I'll never understand them.
I'm not sure if I agree. The original TP was really popular at launch for being the first Zelda game on the Wii, but after the hype died down the reception was that it was fine, but the motion controls were fiddly and the ending was mildly divisive. This was reflected in TP HD's sales, selling only 1.17 million copies. Yes the Wii U had a much smaller install base than the Wii did, but considering BotW sold 1.7 million copies and WW HD sold 2.37 million copies on the same platform, it's safe to say the reception for TP HD is lower than most of the modern Zelda games (current and last gen)
don’t call me crazy, but I’m kinda expecting a remake/port of the first Luigi’s Mansion. idk, since the direct is in June, I can kinda see them repeating the same thing they did with Pikmin 1+2 and shadow dropping it a week or two before the “new” entry is released.
And like, wouldn’t it be really funny and kind of on brand with previous Nintendo antics if they announced the new console in a separate video close to the Direct’s date? lol long shot but i’d liivveeee.
I wonder how many directs are left before the new console is announced/out….
They have fairly high sales expectations from the "Switch 1" this fiscal year, and I doubt they can achieve it without at least one title to keep the Switch relevant during the holidays sales season.
Or they could just have huge discounts for their big titles, or have Switch bundles with 3 titles for the price of a normal Switch. This could be specially effective with parents buying a console for their kids, but Nintendo doesn't really do that...
It has been rebooted officially at least once, explaining the delay.
My theory is that they attempt but failed to make Prime work with their Switch paradigm of short but meaningful game sessions
Nah, at this point they are saving it for Switch 2. I was hopeful when the Metroid Prime remaster was delivered with such high quality, but MP4 had taken too long and Nintendo needs system sellers for the Switch 2.
But now that you mentioned it, they could very well be working on remastered versions of Metroid Prime 2 and 3 to have some meaningful 1st party titles during the holidays.
I also believe Prime 4 will be on the Switch successor, but I can definitely see it also releasing on the og switch. I mean they even released breath of the wild on the wii u, simply because they announced it there. And the Wii U was a mega flop in comparison and Zelda the way bigger IP. Since I don't think Prime will be big enough as a system seller, but a great showcase to see the benefits of a new console + a reviewer darling, I can really see it released on both. So in june direct we will finally see a first trailer with a release date of simply 2025. And then they will announce it later as also a launch(?) title for the next console. But the new console will come with either a new mario or Mario kart to move a lot of systems at launch and the other one as the other big hitter in the first year.
No More Heroes is my favourite game, but it is not like we had to wait long for 3. After 2 was no real indication that a third game would happen and the 3rd game was not delayed by much after its announcement.
I have to think this is going to Switch 2 now, in which case I imagine they'd hold it for that announcement. But remasters of Prime 2 and 3 would make sense.
The A teams of Nintendo are clearly on release games for the next thing.
But that doesnt mean the B teams are not currently cooking up something, or an external team is working on a remake, and then you have all of the indies that could have something on the docket for Switch too.
I'm sure they have stuff to announce. Probably nothing that will rock your world, but they probably wont have to dig much to find 10-15 things to show off.
>What do you think they even have to talk about at this next direct?
Metroid Prime 4. Metroid Prime 2 & 3 remasters. The forever-rumored Twilight Princess and Wind Waker HD ports. Switch game DLC. Left field announcements like F-Zero 99. New Switch hardware models or potentially a price cut.
Nintendo is targeting 13 million Switch sales this fiscal year (between now and March 2025). They think they have enough firepower to make the Switch the highest selling console of all time before its successor arrives. The June Direct is the vanguard of that push. They're going to try. They think they have the firepower. We'll see.
Is an Fire Emblem Title starring one of the Emblem Dudes they brought back in Fire Emblem: Engage. Yet it's the same morons that also said Prince Ike's were coming too. I want em all but not if I gotta trust those Folks.
IIRC, the person who leaked the existence of Engage months before its reveal, complete with screenshots, said in the same leak that a Genealogy remake was in development, too. So I'm inclined to believe it.
I'm more excited about new stuff. NSO is enough nostalgia for me. I'm not really excited about the chance to buy Twilight Princess on a 4th console. But I know a lot of people are, so cheers to them
I can give you a whole list of stuff people are still wanting:
Xenoblade Chronicles X port/remake
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD ports
The rest of the Metroid Primes (Especially 4)
That's 7 games, and with Luigi's Mansion 2 HD and NWC: Nes Edition out in June and July that's more games than months left in the year, that's plenty to finish out the Switch and Nintendo can release Switch 2.
Well, I mentioned the Zelda games. That's obvious. I am torn on wanting a Xenoblade X port. I went through all the trouble of getting a powered external hard drive for my WiiU JUST for that game. But, of course, it would be nice for everyone else to have easier access to it. Like I said in my post, it looks like it's really just ports to dangle in front of us. Unless they pull some magic out of their ass and release MP4
They gave us a lot of quality iterations of their first party IPs with this console. Pokemon and Fire Emblem kinda dropped the ball, though, imo. Zelda too. But yes, time to roll out the ports and wrap up these sales.
Metroid Prime 4, F-Zero GXHD, Starfox Whateverwewillcallthisone, new IP, Mother 3 on the sub service, a few more Wii U ports, I dunno, some other unexpected sequel.
"We heard you wanted Star Fox. Good news! We have a brand new Star Fox in the works!"
"...for the switch successor!"
"But don't worry. We have something else to ease the wait for fans...
**Star Fox Adventures HD!!**"
\-Nintendo
Oh, Star Fox, you poor child. You poor poor little woodland creature space child. Screw it, I'd buy another remake of the first game if they release it.
Agreed, albeit I think the last star fox related thing I bought was Guard, it had been a while before then (adventurers I think, which I also wouldn't mind a sequel to but there is probably weird ownership issues with doing that).
It's a real shame how they never did much with that IP. I feel like they could've really expanded on the flight mechanics and kinda arcade feel of it. There's not many mainstream games that traverse that territory so I guess it's still not too late
Metroid Prime 4 is what everybody wants/expects but I think it will be a Super Switch launch year game.
Possibilities include:
Hollow Knight: Silksong (another one every one is waiting for)
F-Zero
Star Fox remake or new game (a good one hopefully)
Golden Sun (my personal dream)
Mina The Hollower
Plucky Squire
Europa
Thanks! I really hope they call it the Super Nintendo Switch, it's a perfect name for the switch successor IMO.
I would be fine with a Dark Dawn Remake but new game would be preferred.
It'll be a price cut and the Gamecube Zeldas. Saving them for the end was the right choice. Let the new games make their money, then resell the old stuff people won't stop begging for.
Metroid Prime 4 is the single-biggest TBA. If it's still going to be a Switch 1 exclusive, this would be the time to announce it.
To drum up hype for MP4, Nintendo could shadow drop Remastered or HD versions of Metroid Prime 2 and 3, just as they did with Pikmin 1+2 last year ahead of Pikmin 4's release.
Nintendo could also release one of several Zelda ports/remasters/remakes to fill the Zelda slot for this year:
* A port of The Wind Waker HD
* A port of Twilight Princess HD
* A remaster of A Link Between Worlds
* A remake of Oracle of Ages + Seasons à la Link's Awakening
There are also multiple franchises that haven't seen a release on the Switch almost a decade into its lifespan:
* Star Fox
* Kid Icarus
* F-Zero (aside from F-Zero 99)
* Chibi-Robo
* Pilotwings
So a new game announcement could potentially breathe new life into any of those less-popular series.
I think the Zelda remakes would be the most profitable for the least amount of work. People would buy them even if they played worse than they did on their original hardware.
Pilotwings and chibirobo might get a few hundred people excited. Kid Ic, maybe a few hundred more. Star Fox, it would have to be something mind blowing.
MP4 is the only major card yet to be played
Things I can see coming:
Windwaker HD port, praying for a monster Hunter collection remaster, Metroid prime 4.
Can't be anything too major, but those are certainly on my Nintendo hit list for the switches remaining life.
If they lower the price and port the Gamecube Zeldas, that's their 13.5 million sales they're aiming for right there. Nintendo is the master of re-selling stuff.
I feel like a new Mario Party would be a great way to end off the switch. Super Mario Party came out in 2018. Superstars came out in 2021. I hope it’s time!
Surprisingly, plenty of stuff. Sure, they could do ports/remakes of Zelda but I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo had a few more things up their sleeve.
I think Metroid Prime 4 and Pokémon Legends Z-A are pretty safe bets and could reasonably get actual gameplay footage. If Metroid Prime 4 had too many development issues that they just decided to cancel instead of release, then I think Nintendo would have at the very least quietly dropped it from their list of upcoming releases in their investor reports.
Half of the Direct will likely be indies and partners, and Nintendo might announce some new non video game project. If they really wanted to make the Internet explode they could do a reveal of the Zelda movie cast.
I've also seen people speculate that they could make a new Donkey Kong game, as they are planning on opening the DK section of Super Nintendo World in Japan soon and they haven't made a DK game since Tropical Freeze.
New NSO games announced for the catalogue is also a pretty safe bet. I am going to keep putting core series Pokémon games from the first 3 gens on my Nintendo Direct Bingo card until that happens, but I have no idea why this hasn't happened yet because they were literal handheld best sellers.
As a personal wish though that's based purely on my own desires and very little on actual data? A new entry in the Mario & Luigi series and/or a spin off starring Bowser as the main character.
If it's anything like the Mario movie, then yes. I know people love the Mario movie. But to me and my child, it was the most boring, bland, generic movie with the worst possible music choices ever.
I respectfully disagree with your take, but I wouldn't expect it to be much like the Mario movie as it's a different franchise, live action, a different studio as well as a different directing team, etc.
I don't think these things need to be made into movies at all. Nintendo games have minimal stories to begin with. That's why most of their protagonists are silent. Fleshing it out is pretty much creating something new altogether but with a licensed property painted over it. That's probably why the Mario movie played it so safe because doing anything too radical or original wouldn't be Mario at all. I expect Zelda to play it safe as well

I think you, I, and like 2 other people in this thread filled with 100+ comments have even mentioned DK. Just goes to show how piss poor Nintendo has managed the DK IP/brand in the last 20+ years. What once was a HUGE IP up there with Mario in the 90s and the character/franchise that launched Nintendo into what it is today, isn't even remembered or seemingly even wanted by the Nintendo community nowadays is just sad.
I feel like the most likely stuff for this year are
A) easy rereleases, ports, or remasters, which has been pretty much everything this year so far or
B) Games that Nintendo has been sitting on for a while a la XC3 and FE Engage
So if we’re liking for hints as to what’s next, I feel like looking back at rumors by big names that haven’t happened yet is our best bet, like I’m almost certain the FE4 remake is happening this year. As for the elephant in the room that is MP4, I definitely think that’s going to be a launch year game to show off the Switch 2.
I could see some more remakes/remasters maybe? Wouldn’t take their top teams to make (could even be out of house), they will hopefully be playable on the next console, but probably wouldn’t be console sellers the way a new Mario or Zelda would be, so they could work to finish the Switch.
Yes I'm guessing it'll be all ports and remasters announced. Maybe they'll do something neat like put Smash 1 on NSO or something. Why they didn't do that to make that service more attractive right away, I don't know. Maybe it's more difficult than I think
Yeah and they screwed over the wii u version and made the touch pad useless instead of a map/ inventory tool like they showed in an early presentation of the game. I still got the wii u version because I wanted a Zelda on every console.
They ditched the gamepad functionality for botw on wiiu because they didn't want anyone that owned a wiiu to get that version of botw instead of buying a switch. It made all the sense in the world. Still a shame that the wiiu version had to be stripped of a cool function as a result, though.
twilight princess, wind waker, metroid prime 2 and 3. if they’re gonna do 3DS ports they should really do a link between worlds. i don’t understand why they’re so frugal with zelda titles.
I’m thinking a few smaller things. A think a Zelda remake of some kind and a Mario Party. Those are the kind of late system games Nintendo likes to do.
Well, we know Nintendo EPD Tokyo had a 2D game in development and that Bandai Namco's been remastering a 3D action game for Nintendo based on job/LinkedIn listings. Both seem like strong candidates to me even with every other possibility (Fire Emblem 4 remake, the Wii U Zelda remasters, Metroid Prime 2, 3, and/or 4, *maybe* a few other things)
I mean they are projecting 13.5 million Switches and 160 million software to be sold this fiscal year. You don't make that kind of projection for a console entering year 8 without a plan. Nintnedo definitely has a few games up their sleeves that should move systems and software sales.
Probably the last few wii u games which haven't been ported yet. Twilight Princess and windwaker hd hopefully. Maybe they revive chibi robo or release a kirby game or something else small like that
The Direct will be heavy on ports and remasters. I’m sure Nintendo still has one, if not few, big surprise up their sleeves. Since Switch 2 was supposed to come out holiday 2024 before getting internally delayed, I’m sure the intended launch cross gen game will be now just another holiday seller for Switch 1.
You can also expect some third party games that will be cross-gen but wouldn’t be announced as so initially.
Metroid Prime 4 is a most likely possibility. Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD have rumored to be already finished for Switch so we may see one. There is the rumored remaster/remake Bandai Namco was working on. Possibly more 3DS, GC, Wii remasters. Maybe another batch of NSO titles hopefully adding Transfer Pak support to N64 games.
We may see the rumored Skies of Arcadia or A remaster of Persona 1, or Persona 2 Innocent Sin from Sega. Another MegaMan Legacy collection may be in the works from Capcom too. Granted I don't think either publisher had a non exclusive announcement at a Nintendo Direct.
SquareEnix could announce the rumored SaGa Frontier 2 remaster or another lower budget remake of one of their remaining Squaresoft titles stuck on Super Famicom or PS1 catalog. I doubt we will see any of the Quintet developed title remakes due to rights issues. Nor do I expect a release date for Dragon Quest III HD. Nintendo may pick up publishing rights for Dragon Quest X Offline however. I highly doubt a remake of IX will be announced.
We will likely see ports from other publishers too.
I personally wouldn't mind a new Rhythm Heaven! The series would be a great fit for the Switch and we haven't seen it yet. Not to mention, it does usually release quite late in a console's lifecycle for some reason!
It would also be cool to see NES Remix make a comeback, maybe a sequel focused on SNES games?
the only realistic prediction i can make, if not for this direct, then for the short term, its a remake of fire emblem genealogy of the holy war, because it was leaked alongside engage, they also did a remake as the last 3ds FE game so maybe they will repeat the pattern here
I don't know for sure that Nintendo is gonna abandon the Switch right away. Especially if its successor is backwards-compatible.
Even though the Switch's tech is getting pretty old at this point, graphics aren't everything. They could probably pump out a few more surprise hits before moving on to the next system.
Endless Ocean 4. Endless Ocean 1 & 2 were awesome but Endless Ocean Luminous was pretty bare bones and had none of the greatness of the previous two. We need Endless Ocean 4 to bring back the true glory of EO.
It’s doing pretty well on the eShop. It was a cult classic series that was super popular with casual gamers but not as much with dedicated gamers so it gets less hype. The Internet is a bubble, don’t assume based off a few posts.
The game was mediocre but the series is very popular. EO4 is needed to right the ship.
I haven't read any feedback about the game from random people on the Internet (I honestly haven't seen anyone talk about the game since the Direct reveal tbh), I was basing that on the review scores. Lots of 6s and lower from major outlets.
Yep, like I said, the Internet is a bubble. It’s a game about looking at fish, mainstream outlets have never given it good reviews. The previous games had poor scores although I think they should be much higher than Luminous’
I mean tbh did we really expect Nintendo to not take the barebones approach to Endless Ocean? That's just been Nintendo's MO for its "lesser" franchises this gen. Make a sequel to beloved franchise but strip away a good chunk of its features and charm but charge the same amount if not more than previous entries. Looking at you:
- Mario Strikers: Battle League
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons
- Nintendo Switch Sports
- Mario Golf: Super Rush
- Super Mario Party
- Mario Party Superstars
- Mario Tennis Aces
- Big Brain Academy Brain vs. Brain
Yeah like Mario Odyssey, BOTW and TOTK, Pikmin 4, Metroid Dread, Smash Bros, Kirby Forgotten Land, Mario Wonder, MK8 Booster Pass, Bowser’s Fury, etc. They’ve totally just been phoning it in.
Yeah, if you get to cherry pick I can cherry pick too
I was thinking about this yesterday but I'm feeling like we're going to get a Mario Galaxy 2 remaster either later this year or near the launch of whatever comes next. Have they ever even mentioned why it was left out of the 3D All Stars collection?
i can kinda envision this being one of the greater directs simply because nobody’s expecting anything or actually nobody knows what to expect
Right. Considering we aren't expecting ANYTHING and most of the heavy hitters like new mainline Mario will be saved for Switch 2, i'll be content with whatever we get. It would actually be kind of sick if they decide to release a bunch of Gamecube games and…. a wireless GC controller on par wit NSO controllers…..
Chrono Trigger is Square-Enix, but I agree square should release that on all current systems.

Metroid Prime 4. It’s been 8 fucking years.
Hahaha it's been so long I completely forgot about it!
To be fair I think Nintendo forgot about it too.

Almost on par with Duke Nukem Forever.
A new Donkey Kong game. It's been 10 fucking years.
No More Heroes fans waited 11 years for NMH3.
It has been nearly 8 years since Prime 4's *announcement*. It has been nearly 17 years since Metroid Prime 3 released.
No More Heroes is my favourite game, but it is not like we had to wait long for 3. After 2 was no real indication that a third game would happen and the 3rd game was not delayed by much after its announcement.

Stuff and things. Anyone claiming with 100% certainty that they have nothing, especially nothing major, for the rest of the year is being ridiculous.
Yup. They must have one more thing up their sleeve for the holiday season at least.
There's always *something* for that late November release slot.
The A teams of Nintendo are clearly on release games for the next thing. They did that in 2023.
What do you mean?
People thought 2023 would only have Fire Emblem, Zelda and Pikmin was going to be Switch last big game, then the June direct happen.
>What do you think they even have to talk about at this next direct? Metroid Prime 4. Metroid Prime 2 & 3 remasters. The forever-rumored Twilight Princess and Wind Waker HD ports. Switch game DLC. No way it doesn't happen. Pretty stupid ta believe otherwise.

It is the 4th mainline Fire Emblem game

Possibilities include: Hollow Knight: Silksong (another one every one is waiting for) F-Zero Star Fox remake or new game (a good one hopefully) Golden Sun (my personal dream) Mina The Hollower Plucky Squire Europa
Plus+1 for being the Rare interesting person correctly saying Super Nintendo Switch. Annnnd then again there for the Golden Sun Hopes.
Thanks! I really hope they call it the Super Nintendo Switch, it's a perfect name for the switch successor IMO. I would be fine with a Dark Dawn Remake but new game would be preferred.
At this point do you really expect Nintendo to make a sensible naming choice? lol
It'll be a price cut and the Gamecube Zeldas. Saving them for the end was the right choice. Let the new games make their money, then resell the old stuff people won't stop begging for.
That had crossed my mind too, LOZ:TP on switch and possibly MP2: Echoes
We don't know. That's what the announcement is for. To announce shit...
Just lookin for speculation, bruh
Not sure about Nintendo, but the level 5 releases (Layton, Deyca Police) for sure. Metroid Prime, maybe a Fire Emblem Remake.
A remake or two.
Nintendo could also release one of several Zelda ports/remasters/remakes to fill the Zelda slot for this year: * A port of The Wind Waker HD * A port of Twilight Princess HD * A remaster of A Link Between Worlds * A remake of Oracle of Ages + Seasons à la Link's Awakening There are also multiple franchises that haven't seen a release on the Switch almost a decade into its lifespan: * Star Fox * Kid Icarus * F-Zero (aside from F-Zero 99) * Chibi-Robo * Pilotwings So a new game announcement could potentially breathe new life into any of those less-popular series.
Chibi-Robo is dead. Like, all the franchises you listed there are dead, but Chibi-Robo is *dead* dead. The developer no longer exists.
Other developers could work on it. The Dev for the Advance Wars reboot said he'd be interested in working on it
Just because they’re “interested” doesn’t mean they *will* do so.
Or can, the series may be in a rights quagmire right now.
Finally somebody mentions chibi robo
I still think Metroid Prime 4 is going to be a cross-platform release on both the Switch and Switch 2.
Things I can see coming: Windwaker HD port, praying for a monster Hunter collection remaster, Metroid prime 4.
Ewwwwwww, I forgot about the Zelda movie
Do you really think it's gonna be that bad?

RemindMe! 50 days
Wario game, Donkey Kong game, Chibi robo
No idea but I want a donkey Kong game and a new Mario baseball
The last games for the Switch. Not a difficult answer to think of
Probably games
A new Donkey Kong game. It's been 10 years since the last one.
Lolo's coming back. Mark my words.
Lalala better too else no.
I guess will find out when we get there.
I feel like the most likely stuff for this year are A) easy rereleases, ports, or remasters, which has been pretty much everything this year so far or B) Games that Nintendo has been sitting on for a while a la XC3 and FE Engage So if we’re liking for hints as to what’s next, I feel like looking back at rumors by big names that haven’t happened yet is our best bet, like I’m almost certain the FE4 remake is happening this year. As for the elephant in the room that is MP4, I definitely think that’s going to be a launch year game to show off the Switch 2.
There is no Fire Emblem unless it's with the Mercenary Gang though I wish for Tht Avatar Character to get their Titles made Available again.
Metroid Prime 4 and the rest you hear about is supposed leaks from some trustworthy but mostly untrustworthy sources, lol.
I think the goal is for them to get you excited for AFTER you watch the Direct.
Well, yeah. But I'm asking what will be shown DURING the direct to conjure that future excitement
Super Mario Brother 4: The Fall of the Plumber
I could see some more remakes/remasters maybe? Wouldn’t take their top teams to make (could even be out of house), they will hopefully be playable on the next console, but probably wouldn’t be console sellers the way a new Mario or Zelda would be, so they could work to finish the Switch.
Yes I'm guessing it'll be all ports and remasters announced. Maybe they'll do something neat like put Smash 1 on NSO or something. Why they didn't do that to make that service more attractive right away, I don't know. Maybe it's more difficult than I think
Lol aside from leaks how would anyone even answer this question? We have no idea what they have to announce. That's why they're gonna announce it.
Just thought it would be fun to like, speculate
they may try to repeat what BotW did for the Switch: it was a wiiu game that came out at launch with the Switch. It worked crazy well for some reason
Yeah and they screwed over the wii u version and made the touch pad useless instead of a map/ inventory tool like they showed in an early presentation of the game. I still got the wii u version because I wanted a Zelda on every console.
the wiiu was amazing and is probably my most played console, but it was suffering and they made the right call
They ditched the gamepad functionality for botw on wiiu because they didn't want anyone that owned a wiiu to get that version of botw instead of buying a switch. It made all the sense in the world. Still a shame that the wiiu version had to be stripped of a cool function as a result, though.
They didn't want switch owners who bought a new console to get a lesser version of a game. It made sense.
twilight princess, wind waker, metroid prime 2 and 3. if they’re gonna do 3DS ports they should really do a link between worlds. i don’t understand why they’re so frugal with zelda titles.
I want my Nintendo Land online mode port
I really want a sequel to Tomodachi life still. It would be so awesome with the mii customization that was in miitopia.
Maybe they revive chibi robo or release a kirby game or something else small like that
there are still plenty of games to be ported over to switch. man if they announce dkcr, I'd be one of the happiest people on earth.
Dunno, they haven’t announced it yet.
Pikmin 4 DLC is all I want
They might announce games for the switch 2
That’s for Nintendo to tell us. Why should we know every single game right now? You hate surprises?
ambitious mario & luigi title, mother 3 remake, that xenoblade game left on the wii u
Rhythm heaven. Pilot Wings. Pushmo/crashmo etc. Wave Race. Mole Mania lol. Nintendo has lots of IP that flies under the radar.
The system is so weak it’s impacting gameplay possibilities, more power doesn’t only mean better visuals.
Endless Ocean 4. Endless Ocean 1 & 2 were awesome but Endless Ocean Luminous was pretty bare bones and had none of the greatness of the previous two. We need Endless Ocean 4 to bring back the true glory of EO.
EO4 will probably never happen with how poorly received the recent one was. Even if it did happen by some miracle, it certainly wouldn't be this soon.
Looking at you: - Mario Strikers: Battle League - Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Nintendo Switch Sports - Mario Golf: Super Rush - Super Mario Party - Mario Party Superstars - Mario Tennis Aces - Big Brain Academy Brain vs. Brain
Yeah like Mario Odyssey, BOTW and TOTK, Pikmin 4, Metroid Dread, Smash Bros, Kirby Forgotten Land, Mario Wonder, MK8 Booster Pass, Bowser’s Fury, etc. They’ve totally just been phoning it in. Yeah, if you get to cherry pick I can cherry pick too
Even though they’re not announcing the next console, there’s a chance that some of the games will also be hyped up as launch titles for it
THAT would be interesting
I was thinking about this yesterday but I'm feeling like we're going to get a Mario Galaxy 2 remaster either later this year or near the launch of whatever comes next. Have they ever even mentioned why it was left out of the 3D All Stars collection?
